Actually even Imama didn't realize that she never loved Jalal, She converted to Islam and that time she saw Jalal who expressed that he loved Islam etc. Though he was not a true Muslim, just like Saad he was a Muslim in just name. But Imama thought if a man loved Our Prophet ( peace be upon him), then he was the right one for her. If Salar had believe in Islam 9 years ago, I'm sure she would choose to live with Salar too. So it wasn't love actually. It was her misconception that Jalal was the right man. Even though I don't find her annoying, but I didn't like how she kept ignoring the red flag hints of Jalal, she even went to him to be his second wife as she thought Jalal was helpless 9 years ago. I didn't like this kind of misconception.

That is expressed brilliantly in this book. Some events seem silly, but they make us realise that this isn't entirely fiction.
