Cheeky Icy Thang was recorded around the time of Yoon's birthday, that's April 14. They can't create the choreo before the song, so let's give that two weeks, that leaves STAYC exactly just 2 months to learn and rehearse the choreo to perfection, to shoot the MV and album photos, to shoot the contents and shows, to learn and rehearse the other b-sides with choreo too like Stay WITH me and 1 Thing, and they even had other activities in-between like university festivals. They went to Japan too to shoot for their upcoming Japanese comeback, that means they were preparing for that too alongside Metamorphic. Was the girls even still getting to sleep these past 2 months? All that hard work, pushing their bodies to its absolute limit, and how do we repay them? Album sales of below 100k for the first week for their first full album. CIT out of the top 100 on all domestic digital charts. Barely a million on the first week on spot and just 500k on yt music. It's saddening. I feel sad as a SWITH. That ending with Yoon praising us SWITHs made me cry.
I actually dont want them to be a big group. Obviously I wish them to be more successful and earn more, but having a bigger fanbase will also bring ton of toxic ones. I wanna keep the girls like this. They never put being popular over being a good artist anyways
