Yes he first performed at my festival at the age of 12 with a group of other young players I called the Django Legacy Band. That video is also on this channel. Enjoy!

henry acker has a very diverse library of licks and phrases but Olli could teach him a thing or two about note shaping/tone/vibrato

There's always some "expert" throwing his two cents in!

if you're here then you must know that people who listen to this type of music, generally do so obsessively , so yeah , you begin to recognize peoples' styles , check out Am Ketenes-Hans Che's Swing @@Pete_B_773

I’d say it’s more a matter of style than anything. Henry has developed his own sound and Olli also has his own unique style. Both players are incredibly accomplished players.

@@gypsyjazzfest You're right, and a style is an always evolving creature. As I am sitting in the audience and listening to the show, I hope that the style evolves in a direction of more vibrato! I just hope that I can still afford the concert tickets when he accidentally/intentionally 'reaches carnegie hall' so to speak 💗

Yes, but Olli has a few more years experience than Henry. Imagine what the future holds for this already awesome player!
