Traditional Japanese houses are built entirely from joinery. Every beam has specific joints with complex mortises and tenons. They're a pain in the neck to chisel and saw, but they're exceptional in the woodworking world. Some joints are so strong they're capable of withstanding earthquakes, settlement, and high winds
Yes, Saw a video the other day about this. They never used nails, hence they devised this method to make super-strong houses. They are lightweight, but strong.
Very cool thanks
So i guess americas use nails is because we have an addiction to corner cutting?
@@thewhitewolf58 Lol sort of. The time period when these joints were developed was long before nails were a common material. Most American buildings are under 75 years old, when steel was abundant, and it's way faster
Oh wow!! That was a beautiful Japanese Tea House. This game looks like it would be so relaxing to do. Thank you for showing us your build. You are always amazing!! :)

is this the same company as houseflipper? the "assembly" stuff really felt similar.
Not the same devs :)
@@gameedged huh. okay.
You learn something New almost every Day, and today it was that Game loves pegging.😏

Thanks for watching, cheers
I got material explosion chain reaction within first 2 minutes. Lost almost half of stuff.
I'm miffed they used an american style saw, not the japanese style.
You know what Japanese tea house is right? Or better was originally. It really was a tea house, but young boys 8-18 were serving more than tea.
Uh....there is supposed to be a rock firepit under that pot....lol
Is this dlc?or the main content of the game?
