San Sebastian is a bucket list destination from our home in France, about 5 hours drive.
Before seeing them in San Sebastian at the Pintxo Bars I don't think I had ever seen them. San Sebastian is great. We went to St Jean de Luz and St Jean Pied de Port up in the French Basque region, very nice towns. We stayed in Hondarribia which is a neat place too and then traveled around.
cold pintxos are ok but the magic happens when you order the warm pintxos straight from the kitchen.
Thanks for the tip! Come to think of it, we ordered a Longaniza sausage Pintxo from the kitchen and it was amazing. Should have done that more!
