The most emo Winner MVs with the cutest and most ridiculous! SoSo is damn powerful and affecting for sure. Hold is campy fun and Remember kills me and I hope it isn’t the last we see them together.
WINNER really has that ability to make you feel so many emotions with not only their title tracks, but also their b-sides or songs they promote alongside their title tracks. From happy to fun to chill to intense to sad.. they just really create songs that can appeal to any genre or musical preference. Granted it can be risky to do things like that, but so far WINNER has done well with experimenting with music. However, I do feel that they did become a bit safe with recent releases. Although, the messages they want to convey were relatable and they wanted to show it in either upbeat mode or like SOSO. There will always be opinions and people won’t be easily pleased and like I said have a certain preference. I hope that when WINNER comes back as WOT4 in a 4-5 years. I hope they shows another level or side to them as individuals and of course as artists as a group. I know they have so much more that they want to show us through their music. You know? Like whole other level like “REALLY REALLY” 2.0 or something that they’ve never done before. I’m excited for WINNER’s chapter 2 as they mentioned multiple times in their last interview as WOT4 before Jinwoo and Hoony’s enlistments. They will come back as more mature and all that good stuff. I think idols get excited about enlistment cuz they can relax in a way. They don’t have to deal with the outside news or media or crazed fans stalking them every day. It’s actually a vacation even if they’re on duty and serving their country. Most idols get to have 9am-5pm work while others become active duty soldiers. So for me.. I don’t find it sad.. maybe initially I was sad, but then I remember how much that this is a good experience for them and to serve their country well. There’s no crazy pressure as opposed of the idol lifestyle.

Knowing that they would go on hiatus when they released this, it was sad but the only thing we can do as fans is to support them still and wait for their return. 🤧😢
AHYEAH you made video reaction to So So! Like you, i listened to Winner and liked their music immediately. When trying to listen to artists I just got to know, I purposedly avoid to see any of their MVs to avoid kind of bias, since an MV can make or break the music, me thinks. Anyways, I finally saw So So MV after several months, and boy did I lost my words until the video ended, and had to replay, because. The MV truly gives the song a different level of depth. I discovered Winner because I'd been watching Mino in the New Journey to the West series, it's a surprising awe and delight to know his works and the works of his group are JUST.SO.GOOD. Winner was my bridge to delve deeper into KPop from the K Variety Shows.
Winner’s songs make me go through so much emotions... I have goosebumps every time I watch So so MV, I just smile so much during Hold mv and I can’t stop crying every time I listen to remember... oh gosh I miss them 🥺
Ohh if you’re wondering in the last few minutes of “Remember” MV.. when they’re watching themselves and you see the younger WINNER crying. That was when they won the name WINNER in the YG survival show called, WIN: WHO IS NEXT. They were called Team A at that time and they had to compete against their little brothers aka Team B aka IKON to get the name WINNER and debut. It was an emotional and super tight competition, it was literally a 1-2% difference in votes. Both teams are super close to each other and didn’t want to compete with each other to debut. It was ROUGH tbh, but I think that I was meant to be anyways. Team A was meant to be WINNER and Team B was meant to become IKON. Both groups debuted successfully and has gain popularity in their own ways. I think WINNER appeals more and as individual members and group they’re very popular in SKOREA/Asia, but they still have a good support internationally. IKON appeals more internationally, but they are respected and liked in SKOREA too. So i think they’re both have been successful despite going through BS management in YGE and both losing members.
True i got goosebumps every time i watched Soso.. as multistan Soso really relatable to myself or many people either about love or not.. we always sometimes fighting ourselves and everyday just so so.. the mv really awesome..Hold? I enjoyed every much.. wht else should i say? i miss jinu n hoony...
