Videos like these are luxurious little treats randomly dropped in my lap throughout the day, or week.
    Thank you, V&A. Truly grateful.

So amazing to see these pieces again. I was fortunate to see them in his home in Beverly Hills when he was alive. The tables were in his living room and the tiger was above the fireplace. It was like going through a mini-museum each time I visited. He loved his collection and wasn't a huge fan of modern art. The snuff boxes were in a case near the entrance and I held the Fredrich box in my hands (with white gloves) Originally the collection was shown in Somerset House. He was Knighted for gifting the collection to England. Sir Arthur Gilbert should be in his title.

I'm surprised at the crudeness of the mounts for the snuff boxes. Some of these boxes are worth large amounts of money, but more so, they are supreme examples of goldsmithing, so I urge the V and A to hire a real craftsman to make the mounts. These boxes should be sitting on fine wooden stands that are tilted and rotate. Despite my complaint, the Gilbert collection is truly a work of art
    in itself.

I don't understand why you are advertising these two random designer individuals to talk about the collection. They are not experts on the collection, the V&A or historic art. Have the museum staff and professors of art history talk about it

The micro mosaic table tops were mind boggling, unfortunately I was creeped out by the so called circus costume designer and the batwoman jeweller... in future, could you please focus on the actual museum pieces and less on those freaks wanting some publicity.
