Same here. Born in 1994. In 2004 when Main Hoon Na was released, we were in the 4th/5th Grade. And we were so crazy about this film. It was so different from traditional Bollywood films back then and also the turning point in Bollywood Cinema going International. The story, the acting, all the songs, comedy scenes, and action sequences 💯
Main hoon Na is a masla film well khnh is definitely better than all kkhh and k3g in terms of writing and screenplay it's just like a modern classic love story
I don't know why kabhi alvida na kehna get less appreciation among these film? I mean it was very good movie of it's time and with much beautiful songs
I really think SRK is the greatest actor that India has ever produced because I belong to South India and I don't know a word in hindi during my childhood days but SRK has a magic that even kids can understand his emotions without knowing the language and TBH I saw other actors in the same age but neither I could understand the Hindi nor their acting. But because of SRK I started to understand Hindi now even after becoming a grown up and an avid Bollywood film lover. I still think there is no one who can act like him. In veer-zara as an old man the way he shivered his hands and the voice he changed to a weak old man's voice is flawless. In Om Shanti Om the difference he brought to 2 characters like a humble loving sensitive Om the aspiring actor, and cool stylish easy-breezy and little impatient Om the superstar is so amazing. Even though I didn't like Devdas for one reason as he keeps saying Chandramukhi "mai yahape aata hoon ki thume bardash karsako" many-a-times than the original but his performance was spectacular. I also think he is a versatile actor he did out and out comedy in Chennai Express and villain in Baazigar and Autistic in My Name Is Khan as a serious and strict coach in Chak de India and psychologist in dear zindagi and army officer in Mai hoon na, nasa engineer in swades he is not just great only as Romantic actor I think few PPL try to take away stardom and good name from him as an incredible actor.
We had a childhood ritual growing up, anytime we get into the car the Music CD from this movie would start... Basically listened to only songs from this movie for 2 years straight

Suddenly the teacher asked - who is not having the textbook. Almost everyone had have book. The teacher got to know that I am the odd one. He asked me the reason. I: book was *Out of stock* (at only NCERT book store in my locality) yesterday. Sir, I would try finding at some other store today. Teacher: all right ,then I will buy that book for you. Give me your roll number ,now. I: yes sir, sure _i started writing my name and roll number and suddenly I was slapped continuously two times on my head from behind_. *everyone in my class started laughing at me* Teacher: faaltu baat, karta hai, gadhe(talking nonsense ,you fool) 15year old me with tears in my eyes was not understanding the sarcasm. I was so innocent. *such things gives us a new experience* P. S I passed out as the school topper 😝. And I got 91/100 in board exams in Hindi (highest in the class).
I realized it very late that the girl micro mini was actually rakhi sawant Never realized until watched the ending credits..she looks different n more good...
i remember when i was watching main hoon na when i was in 5th class ...in my summer vacations mama ke ghr pe tha...cried my hearrt out when srk was leaving college..and my mama said to me and his son that kyu ro rahe ho movie hi to hao...but it felt so real the acting the scene...a beautiful childhood memory
Super entertaining movie. I remember how much I liked this movie. Our class performed on song 'chale aise hwaye' song at school. All songs of this movie are also blockbuster. :-)
I love love love this movie. All the references to other movies and directors are so cutely woven into this chaotic but gorgeous movie. My enduring love is for Shahrukh Khan but thismovie also had me in love with Sushmita Sen. The ensemble cast are all wonderful. And ne of my most favourite aspects of all Farah Khan's movies is that she gives as much love and credit to the people behind the cameras with her whacky end credit sequences. Main Hoon Na is in my top 5 "go to, feel good" movies of all timealong with Dil To Pagal Hai.
