and you forgot to add...and stay away from other people's man....If you listen to the breakfast club interview..this isnt here first side chick experience.I get the whole "dont judge" thing....but everyone has an opinion...thats not judging.Real judges are paid to judge...even when they judge unfairly..consequences follow those judgements..when the situation isnt that serious people have opinions.Opinions don't sentence or jail you.Public opinions are simply the thoughts of "the people"..or The opinion of the public majority.If majority of people think she is a damn home wrecker..thats what it is.When you get yourself in these situations..and later write/sing a song about it(a song that confirms her knowledge of his current relationship) you obviously are willing to accept the risk of people labeling you a home wrecker.Yes she is in love...but find that love with a single person.Free unconstrained love feels better anyway.You have to sacrifice too much being a side piece...even when they marry the side chick..they remember how they got you.They remember how you were selfish to get them...they give you the least respect..ring or not.Ive seen it happen before..and I am personally NOT team side chick.More like desperate chick.sad

Good for you Amina, being Atheist is nothing to be ashamed of nor anything to hide. There are people in the world who do not believe in ancient middle eastern or any other myths, and they are good & bad, smart & not so smart people in their own right (most are doctors & scientists). At least that is one smart thing you have going for you, because you have not displayed being too smart in your romantic choice. You are a real talent though, can not take that from you at all, and I wish you much success on that front, as we'll as, being a great mother to that baby girl.

Don't judge a book by it's cover. People these days have the nerve to tell someone about their life and their lives are way terrible then hers. Amina have talent and yes she did made a mistake, but we're not perfect either. She's not a homewreaker, she's just another female that wants to be loved by a man that sees something in her that no other guy saw in her. She's have the potential, the dedication, and the artistic motives to pursue her dreams and I hope she does even if people don't like her. The "best i ever had" song is my first crush when i really discover her as a solo artist even if iam a religious it's all about music whatever her conviction or her personnal life. Most of us have a concept from right or wrong from our parents and sometimes its internal, we just know when we've done wrong. Self Love is possible without acknowledgement of God. One thing about God, It/he/she knows of its existence and is not bothered by a mere human not understanding this. She is a child of the most High whether she acknowledges it or not.

Okay first off, Heather B face threw the whole interview lol classic that totally would've been my facial expressions or lack thereof if i was there. Secondly, her voice is ok, but since signing on to do that show she will never be taken seriously as an artist. Fortunately and unfortunately for her record companies don't want anything to do with messy situation like that. Sure it happens all the time, behind closed doors, but no one is going to sign her knowing first hand that she was a side piece that eventually got married. And lastly she joined a show because she had nothing going on and wanted to be seen so hopefully she enjoys that cuz that will probably the last time she'll be on TV unless she comes back for love and hip hop NY part 2, but it definitely won't be for anything music related.

Religion is a personal choice so what you believe in (or don't believe in) is up to you. But when she said that they were both atheist, I'm not going to lie I said the same thing Sway said lol. However, being an atheist does not make you the devil, and this is coming from a person that believes in God & I absolutely cannot stand Amina but she is not the devil....Stupid? Now let's direct our focus to the fact that she is pregnant with his 8th child.....EIGHTH. Amina is a true bird who's elevator does not go all the way to the top. She can hold a tune but she will mostly never be taken serious because of this show. All that foolish bullshit that she played 50/50 part in will gain her more backlash than good. Peter doesn't respect her and never will...and in all honesty she doesn't respect herself. It baffles me how she willingly allows him to treat her like shit, but hell his treatment is but a sliver of the humbling piece of karma that she is slowly but surely recsumpathidon't care how Tara "got" Peter (yes Tara was the side chick but the difference is that she never actively saw him with the woman he was engaged to or any other woman & she certainly was never introduced to her on several occasions like Amina was) Amina was wrong for knowingly playing a part in this. AND Amina has been down this road before. When the show aired Natalie Nunn went in on her ass for having slept around with her boyfriend while she was still with him. During Aminas breakfast club interview, she admitted to being with Natalie's now ex but of course she claims she didn't know they were together. BULL TO THE SHIT. And this was before she said met Peter through one of his friends......a friend that she was dating & got dumped by thus is how she ended up with Peter. So basically once his friend was done with her, he passed her to his homie. And to bring a child in this mess, smh.

I respect a person's decision to either be religious or not, I really don't mind. What I do find disappointing is when people scrutinize those who are religious because of their personal flaws or hypocrisies. It should be understood that they're claiming to be religious, not claiming to be perfect. Peace and love.

To all the people saying "It makes sense now" : Look at the most religious countries on the world especially those in Africa.These are extremly god fearing people but they are still dying because of dirty water, disease and war. And Amina although she is an atheist lives a better life than most of the poor people in countries like Nigeria, Ruanda or South Africa.
To those of you who are blaming it all on atheism should stop closing the minds of others. Many of you are religious and are in or have family members who are in the same situation. it's possible to like an individual's craft/talent without agreeing or aligning yourself with their personal beliefs...i.e. many of actors/actresses in our favorite movies/shows, comedians, other musicians etc...

agreed. a lot of atheists whose philosophies I have heard seem to just not have a firm spiritual foundation. it seems like many of them believe in a higher power, but they are still trying to figure out which aspects of that higher power they believe. They just don't believe in the religious idea of god.

yeah, i know not all atheists think alike, but i'm just saying that some of them that i come by seem to believe in a creator of some sort. you're very welcome, i love when people can discuss things without an angry argument. people aren't able to fully hear and understand each other when they are so busy hurling insults.
When you believe in some divine power, a creator, or some kind of higher life force, you're rather a deist or pantheist. Regarding "the God", you're still an atheist though, because you don't believe in a personal God that revelated himself to man, whether it's through prophets, or personal revelation, or religious texts - like you are an atheist regarding Zeus, or Thor, I suppose.

I find it disgusting how so many are judging her for simply not believing in a God.
1. Jesus and the bible says not to judge, so you aren't listening to your own holy book.
2. Morality doesn't come from belief in a God, morality is innate in us/evolved with us as a society. That is evident throughout history. For example, the bible condones slavery, even Jesus condoned it. Example:
"Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ." (Ephesians 6:5 NLT)
"The servant will be severely punished, for though he knew his duty, he refused to do it. "But people who are not aware that they are doing wrong will be punished only lightly. Much is required from those to whom much is given, and much more is required from those to whom much more is given." (Luke 12:47-48 NLT)
Even the first slave ship to America was "The Good Ship Jesus". So LEARN your history. Africans were forced into believing inCchristianity and it was beaten into them, and now you guys cling to it. It's quite sad really. Now, we evolved as a society and realized it is wrong, something an "All-Loving" God condoned (when his word is supposedly eternal), is now condemned by his own supposed creation. All he had to do was say it was wrong back then, and then slavery wouldn't have evolved into what it was. If he was "all knowing", he would know that would happen before hand.
3. Atheists simply LACK a belief in God. Not all atheists are anti theistic.They are just unconvinced of his existence... because the lack of evidence. The belief isn't warranted. Not all atheists are "anti-theists"... although many do hate how religion oppresses peopl and influences laws (Unconstitutional). Islam and women, christianity and gays (used to be women as well), etc etc. Agnostic is a better term for an adjective. For example, I'm an "Agnostic Atheist" because I don't know, but I'm not convinced. Atheism is "lacking a belief in God". Even Buddhists can be defined as atheists. Atheism doesn't imply certainty, and just because someone is an atheist- doesn't make them immoral. I can give you lists of atheists that are good, Bill Gates, Stephen Hawking, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Sam Harris, the list goes on. I'm an atheist and I listen to all kinds of music, and if I learn the singer is christian- it doesn't bother me AT ALL. For you guys to not like her music all because of her lack of belief, YOU are the immoral ones. YOU are the ones who hold society back. According to studies, atheists are the least trusted minority in the U.S - equal to rapists. That is disgusting.
Conclusion: Get educated and stop being a judgmental prick.
