She owns this song like Celine owns "My Heart Will Go On" and Whitney "I Will Always Love You". No cover can compare to this rendition, for me. Her tone owns the song.
Others say morisette's cover was better but fr it's just not! because for what I've seen from other reaction videos the live version they've watched were different where they are comparing who sang it best and I think the performance of Loren in this is too powerful and just really stands out in every other covers and she owns this song! Nuff said.
Loren Allred and "Never enough" is literally experiencing destiny unfolding before us. She was born to sing this song. And this song was written for her and her alone. You cannot separate them. I could not help but be overcome with emotion watching and listening to her perform this.
It should be a CRIME that the audience didn’t get on their feet for a standing ovation. I was so shocked that they didn’t, I remember looking up on google the history of standing ovations to try to understand. I doubt any of them will have them honor of hearing such exquisite vocals again .
Her low notes have such a beautiful quality to them. They are warm and simply beautiful. Her vowel change is very smart, allows her to have a fuller tone a more bodied voice, first time I heard the song when watching the movie I got chills the whole time. She is very underrated. In my opinion she really deserved a standing ovation that night.
How this woman didn't win the Voice is ridiculous. Even artists who have made it and have to cover this song, admitted how hard this song is. Pure talent. 👏
This was outstanding and she’s singing it better and better with even more emotion, vocal breaks/cracks... riff runs, they sounded effortless... FML this singing is the stuff of legends, it’s a shame today’s generations do not appreciate music like this.
I actually like the "mehhh" part cause it lifts up the moment and adds so much depth and height. And Lauren's voice makes it sound literally "epic". It's like her voice surrounding you, I don't know, it's just how I feel (goosebumps). Others have done "meeee", it's totally up to you what you want to prefer listening, but "Never enough".... Lauren is the only one who can actually bring that different and unique feel to the song. She just owns it.
The best thing about her is she can sang very low and very high at the same time. Most belter can be off tone singing low but her low tone has a lot of depth and even her belting is pleasing to the ear.
No...the best thing about Loren is she makes the old adage true...'.you don't have to look at the mantlepiece whilst poking the fire'....thank goodness the director chose to dub the actress.Loren looks like a horse
her tone really Is key to this song for me, the control from belting it out to subtle almost instantly is insane. the sharpness in "All" helps which is credit to whom ever wrote the song. this and Barbara Streisand's Women in the Moon are I think two of the most amazing vocals and songs I have seen.
I love her voice and I truly believe this is one of the best live performances I’ve ever heard in my life. Having said that, I believe that I’ve only heard Whitney Houston sing the “eeee” sound (in “me” for example) in the correct way at high note and high power the way it should be. It actually requires a full diaphragm insane power to do that and only Whitney had such incredible amazing capability beyond imagination.
I ran across Georgina's videos a while ago but have continued to seek out more and more of her videos as time goes by. She is seemingly a super sweet soul and I can't help but love her! She points out soo many valid vocal techniques and even explains them in a way that individuals (such as myself) who've never had a single session of vocal training, can understand! Def will be continuing to view her content and I seriously wish her the most success here on RUclips!!
An insane singer is always out there to lead the next generation. Celene Whitney etc. I truly think Loren's voice is on par with celenes. Absolutely amazing
A lot of that is intentional which adds to her versatility and talent. Listen to and subscribe to her channel. Some of her newer live recordings she’s doesn’t have the husk in her tone.
Love her voice and never knew she was on The Voice in 2012. Would love for you to react to Jackie Evancho singing All I ask of You at the 2015 Celebrity fight Night with David Foster. No vocal coach on RUclips has reacted to Jackie yet and I'm curious what you think of her singing. She was 15 years old at the time of this concert. Thank you!
Just say “e” and say “a” you don’t even have to sing it, you can feel that pronouncing a is lower and easier then e. Now imagine betting and singing them both in high chest register.
Think this was a night with David Foster. There is a follow-up video with Loren and Pia Toscano singing a version of Celine and Barbara Tell him - so good!
I like the gradual vocal strategy she used for this performance because it grabbed my attention, and then made me curious about what she would do next, vocally, as well as where is she going to take this, will she just keep it at the same stage or go higher or lower? because sometimes when people add a lower component, it adds a different kind of depth or even using a lower melody different to the standard melody can make that person's performance more interesting ;p
OMG I love you, you're so kind with your words and explanation, and you make it so easy to understand the techniques and everything. I love how much you love her !
Impressive , she is resonant almost time belting in this performance , she made the thing that all the divas have made , she make it the original that no cover version sound like :v
I’m so proud of Loren. I’ve been a fan since her short time on The Voice - being the choir nerd I am, when I learned shortly after that her father was a choral director of one of the best choral programs in the country at the time, her mother a classical soprano, and her gorgeous covers that have since disappeared from RUclips (sadly)... so happy she’s found so much success. Wish she was a household name!
Great performance. It's a semi tone lower than the original but spectacular none the less. I think she lowered it so that she had room to take it to new heights. She hits some of the same notes and even higher notes than the original but the song itself is in a lower key
Exactly. I thought exactly the same. I noticed the tone was lower but then during her singing i noticed those riffs and those notes she hit, so i realized they lowered it to take it to another level.
I think it was a fantastic choice. Besides the obvious advantage of letting her take the high notes to new heights, I also loved how deep and rich her voice sounded in the beginning. Love love love.
Georgina, I love it when you have your “Oh my god” moments. It’s been a long time since I had shivers from my head to the tips of my toes AND had a tear run down my face. That’s was a phenomenal performance, not just giving what the audience expected but even more! Wow! 😳
That may be one of the best vocal performances of all time. Ever.
Agreed.
No. Listen to Morissette Amon’s version and she puts Lauren Allred to shame
i can’t get through it without crying. i wish she reads every comment about her beautiful voice all the time forever and ever.
@@denM-ey3vb love Morissette but loren slayed her vocally
EVER
She owns this song like Celine owns "My Heart Will Go On" and Whitney "I Will Always Love You". No cover can compare to this rendition, for me. Her tone owns the song.

@@domc9026 I agree! Loren owns this song.
This performance is outstanding, cannot compare with anyone else. I cannot understand why the audience is not on their feet giving standing ovation?
There are some singers who bring tears to your eyes and take your breath away, and Loren Allred is one of those few rarest people.
The crowd down there was so pathetic, she deserved a standing ovation.
Loren Allred and "Never enough" is literally experiencing destiny unfolding before us. She was born to sing this song. And this song was written for her and her alone. You cannot separate them. I could not help but be overcome with emotion watching and listening to her perform this.
I went to college with her & she is simply incredible!
You're lucky ♥️
There are only a few moments in music history that everything is perfect. That was one of those.
I don't know about that, Lea Michele's vocals on Glee have been perfect like...20 times lol.
6:03 the extra notes she added, i can tell that those are really difficult to attempt with that riff but please she is so underrated
She added so many runs i was having goosebumps throughout definitely an Amazing singer
The last note omg
It should be a CRIME that the audience didn’t get on their feet for a standing ovation. I was so shocked that they didn’t, I remember looking up on google the history of standing ovations to try to understand. I doubt any of them will have them honor of hearing such exquisite vocals again .
THIS IS EXACLY WHAT I THOUGHT. If I had been there I would've stood up, cried and probably screamed.
It was recorded and they were instructed not to.
Its an intimate performance and as a result they were instructed to stay in their seats but clap when the vocalist ends the performance
One of the greatest singing performances of all time. Loren Allred has become a true musical phenomenon
For Broadway, yes.
@@iam1408 have you ever heard her sing any other style? If you haven’t then you don’t know what she can do, now do you? 😉
I can't believe she did not get a standing ovation for this performance. They cheered loudly but she deserved everybody standing up
Mijail Dimopoulos ikr, its like people today have forgotten what true greatness is and looks/sounds like.
I said the same thing ! I was grotesquely shocked by their lack luster reception on one of the best vocals they probably will never will match
It must feel absolutely incredible to be able to sing like that! wow
Agree though it also must take a lot out of someone

She may be the most underrated singer ever
Also Jessie J and Morissette
@@isiscollinssingingandbeaut3485 everybody knows who Jessie J is...
@@jak30341 nope, Jessie J deservers the fame of Selena Gomez, like its so unfair
At 5:55 she gave us a classic Southern/Country riff and by 6:07 she took us to The Prince of Egypt with that Israeli style riff 😍😍
she simply blows me away.. this song pulls at your heart.
this version is way better than the older live version she has on her channel, in the red dress.. this one just tops it, by some margin
Loren is just an amazing singer, just love her. She's also a great writer.
Best performance of this song, simply stunning. Her voice is so mature and gorgeous.
How this woman didn't win the Voice is ridiculous. Even artists who have made it and have to cover this song, admitted how hard this song is. Pure talent. 👏
In my opinion the greatest singer of all time. I have never heard a song sung so brilliantly.
“Oh my absolute god” my new favorite phrase 🤣. Perfectly describes how I felt watching this as well
She did a different rendition in this performance, I am shocked to see how effortlessly she sang this song☺️👏👏👏👏👏
The last high note, resonance 😭💙
I have seen this song performed many times, but this is the best performance I have ever seen. She has definitely improved since the movie!
This was outstanding and she’s singing it better and better with even more emotion, vocal breaks/cracks... riff runs, they sounded effortless... FML this singing is the stuff of legends, it’s a shame today’s generations do not appreciate music like this.
Paddy Lewis most of today’s generation*
It sounded effortless but actually she puts so much effort to it. She’s fantastic.!

She has one of those voices that does a great job of evoking emotion in her audience. I cry every time I watch this song. Beautiful and powerful.
Best version of this song! Fight me lol. Her tone is incomparable. Note changes here, as well as her belting is Crazy! And that vibrato 😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥🔥
Not until Morissette Amon covered this song...
Steffi Glam ew
She’s so underrated like I don’t understand
She is just amazing.
Lauren is superb. She’s an angel. Thanks for the video.

She brought tears to my eyes! Beautiful!
the best version of this song ever, it was that night
Agree man 👍
I remember this girl from the voice singing an Amy Whinehouse song and it was phenomenal.
I watched this only the other week myself. Her performance is truly impeccable! Brings all the emotion out of you ✨

Every other singer in the world: Never Enough couldn't possibly be harder to sing!
Loren Allred: Hold my throat spray.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching you watch that, seeing your face light up at some of the changes she made in this performance. She did an AMAZING job!!!
This is so beautiful, I can't believe this is even better than in the movie!
Would have been better if loren acted in the greatest showman as well as sing in it.
Love these videos
Un-freaking-believable best voice of all time Lauren!!!!!!!!😯😯😯😯
It’s sad to hear people say this when you don’t really listen to international singers like Dimash and Morissette Amon who have more talent and range.
OMG that last note!! 🤯🤯
Simon T that yes amazing! Morissette Amon has covered this song she did that last note before loren does it! amazing song!
The last belt at the end...wow
Her voice's huskiness shocked me. Then the belting shocked me more
A lot of that is intentional which adds to her versatility and talent. Listen to and subscribe to her channel. Some of her newer live recordings she’s doesn’t have the husk in her tone.
Ohhh Loren. You are truly extraordinary. Your voice soothes my heart ❤
This performance was spectacular. I loved her added riffs and adlibs. She deserved a standing ovation.
Favourite song from The Greatest Showman along with Tightrope 😍
First video I've watched of The Honest Vocal Coach. Her reactions are adorable!

The "me, me, mey" explaination was fascinating.

Just say “e” and say “a” you don’t even have to sing it, you can feel that pronouncing a is lower and easier then e. Now imagine betting and singing them both in high chest register.
I never understood the difference between singing "me" and "meh" before now. Thank you for the explanation.
SHE IS THE BEST.
Watching again after Loren's appearance on BGT. She is just awesome and effortless!

I'm still annoyed that the audience remained seated, after this spectacular vocal performance from the *Vocal Marvel, Loren Allred* 🌹

because she is only a singer
Roman Zolanski I’d hardly call the role a stretch and the character has about 10 lines in the whole movie.
