A good way to acquire cards that you can't afford is the occasional pack. Great video with a lot of good points I'm looking forward to more of Bronze Dragon in 25. Great shout out for clove 71. Could you imagine opening up all the alpha packs you wanted.
In my opinion you've had a great year on RUclips. Your subscriber count has been one of the most naturally fast growing that I've witnessed. 500 subs 10 months ago, 1000 subs 6 months ago, now almost 2.4k. Good job! #1 reason is most likely your consistency. Every Saturday you gave people somewhere to hang out and feel connected. Happy New Year BD!
Great review of 2024 BD. I am really looking forward to 2025 with all of the game improvements coming our way in the next 120 days. The game is now financially sound and getting the mobile experience fixed is a big thing since most gaming web2 and web3 players are found on mobile. The glint store was the biggest win for me 20 2024 as we have options to pick chests, cards and other goodies. I am hoping we see an update with Brawls (new buildings, new card set) in 2025 as well as a real Battle Pass. Thank you Bronze Dragon for all that you have been doing for the Splinterlands community.
The addition of the glint store only became a good thing after they took away the chests we used to win daily and at End of Season. If I still earned non-soulbound cards that I could sell, we wouldn't need the glint store at all. It only became useful once our previous rewards were taken away. We also wouldnt need this new glamour system if they just released skins for sale for DEC or SPS right in the store. Why spend the time coming up with some whole new system, spend the time creating the actual skins. We dont need more tokens, and more soulbound stuff. It would make more sense in my opinion to use this portion of dev resources to help with land, that was sold to the community several years ago and is WELL behind schedule. Or maybe they could work on Validator nodes, also quite delayed IMO. Im only still here because I know that if I stop letting the bot run the chances of me ever getting my money back is zero. If I let the bot run it is at least .001%. Now a days I dont even find playing the game fun. I was never a max deck player, and I dont have all the fancy new cards, so I just lose 80% of my battles in modern. Silver/Gold players were screwed with the removal of leagues.
I have been tempted to play God's Unchained just to see what it was all about but I have not, so I cannot give an opinion on it. I've been playing Splinterlands for 3+ years though. It's a different type of game I think the community drew me in. I like how the game is played as well. God's Unchained did take first place this year over Splinterlands in second. You can play Splinterlands free to play and test it out if you want to give it a shot. Welcome!
Gods unchained and parallel are kind of a spin on hearthstone... way more engaging and fun in my opinion... splinterlands is boring... just pick your team and that's it... not to mention the price tag on splinterlands, I mean let's be honest, $4 for a pack of 5 cards and you need 400 copies to make a max level card... I would try both games and see which is better for you... parallel is the clear best tcg in web3 if u ask me

It was pretty wild watching her open packs and get gold foil alpha epics/legendaries.

Can I ask why you play splinterlands over gods unchained? I want to get into one of them but can't decide between the two.
