I can totally relate to fighting for my life every time I listen to Gyu singing this song I can't control my tears. I listen to Gyu's version every night and go to sleep even if I have to cry to sleep . Gyu's vocals is everything I hope in his solo album he has done more singing like this , the emotions my God!!!
His pronunciation is actually so on point- :D I was very surprised at how I could understand every word he said despite him not being a native speaker!! Even I see that English songs from English singers are hard to decode without searching up the lyrics. Mingyu’s tone is honestly so sweet as honey. 🥺❤🫠

something i always think about and love about mingyu's way of speaking (and singing) is that he has a bit of a lisp when he says and sings his 's', and i think it adds such a gentle quality to his voice, especially when singing softer, gentler songs like this. it's so unique, and it's just one of those small (among many) things i love about mingyu ❤
