    I love my Fiskars scissors. If you want to spend a little more money, get some Gingher scissors, they are awesome!

    You are my craft wreath angel 😇. For the past month I’ve been trying to make curls. I was told small wreaths only need six inches of length. I have yet to make a clean roll. Tried your ten inch length with three curls & my wreath came out beautiful 😍. I use fiskars scissors and they are great

    You mentioned good scissors... I've purchased from a lot of places and found that the black handle ones from harbor freight are good and sturdy and stay sharp longer. Try them out.

    This Turned out so beautiful! I believe myself to be crafty I even have diy and craft videos on my channel but I’ve never made a wreath!! I’ve always wanted to. I just find them intimidating to make for some reason. I’m watching a bunch of videos trying to learn techniques. You make this look so easy. Thanks for the inspiration to try again. I’m gonna be at dollar tree first thing in the morning to get supplies. I love learning from talented creators like you!! 🌺🌸🌼🌷💐🌹🌻

    I love this wreath. I'm glad you did an 8" wreath. Thank you for the tip about weighting the mesh down to make a better curl. The Bowdabra is perfect for making bundles, as well as bows. Fiskers are good scissors, and they have a sharpener you can buy for them, which works really well. Thank you for sharing your time, and talent with all of us.

    Thank you for your tutorial I enjoyed your demonstration. There are too many of them out there that are doing the live tutorial and they say he to everyone and jibber jabber. Their demo rooms look a mess just like the demonstration is . I appreciate your method. I have several small wire frames and I am looking for some more ideas for the mini wreaths. Do you have more?

    Beautiful wreath, I believe I will be making that today lol, I love working on the 8 inch wreath forms. Thank you for the tutorial, and by the way you mentioned scissors, I have always used Fiskars scissors, and also, my rotary cutter is the same name brand! I will also say I see people using their scissors to cut Chenille stems, and that is NOT good for them lol... thank you again for your awesome tutorial ❤️

    Loved this. If I wanted to make a larger wreath how much ribbon would I need?

    • @southernwreaths
      @southernwreaths  Год назад

      If you made one on a 14 inch frame, you would need 28 pieces of ribbon cut to 12 inches

    Is it possible to make a 17" wreath using the 8" frame? If so , what length should the mesh be cut/ how many bundles, including ribbon? Thank you :)

    • @southernwreaths
      @southernwreaths  Год назад

      It would be harder to do that but I think if you played around with the way you add your mesh you may be able to pull it off. As far as how long to cut the mesh or how many bundles that will be determined as your making it. I would try to find some inexpensive mesh to play around with and see what works best.

    I hope you see this comment lol but what’s that thing your putting your bundle in as you cut it?

    • @southernwreaths

      It’s a Bowdabra. It’s used to make bows but I use it to hold my mesh sometimes. Here’s a link to one.
