We are going to make a final video on all of the results, it’s a lot of information and we’re trying to lay it out so it’s not a confusing mess. Keep watching!
I have this cam in my RG 114. Not really sure what he means for a small bike. Did 118hp and 128tq with bassani 2n1 and SE ventilator AC everything else stock. Starts at 2k all the way up. Great chop at idle too. All these cams are very similar, especially the 485 lifts. comes down to preference. Wanted to go with something different from “what’s in” at the moment
@@michaelmitchell5909 at least woods does disclose on their website that Andrews makes their cams 😂 . It’s all good all the cams out there are pretty darn good. People get tied up with dyno numbers and forget that they’re not riding with wide open throttle. Just a pissin contest with all these dynos sometimes
@@ro9949 Why does it matter who grinds the cams? Specs are given to a large MFR to do the work, nearly everything is done like that in performance industry on all vehicle platforms.
Hi if you have to choose one of both, which one would you suggest? The star racing 30/30 or the Andrews 485? I have to make s choice of one of these. Thank you
Check out our cam shootout video, I know its almost an hour long, but your decision on cam is affected by what and how you ride. The Star 30/30 is more of a mid range cam, while the Andrews 485 is more mid-high range cam based on our testing. Both are excellent cams, but the choice ultimately comes down to where you spend most of your time riding, the "Zones" as we called them in that video.
@@JDsCycleWorks thank you very much. I ride the most of the time in lower and mid range. I will check your video too. Thanks and greetings from Germany
Hard to believe something that sounds so mild can make so much power
Man they all work great 😮
Great series. Thanks so much!
I like the way this cam holds it's max torque.
Looks like the Cycle Rama is the best all around so far
Some of these cam numbers really surprise me! Great horsepower and torque on that one
When you’re done, are we going to get an overlay of all these cams. Thanks for doing us.

OMG!, an M8 that sounds like a precision water cooled machine... FML, How much more work do I have to do to end the Sowing Machine sound of my M8?
Cycle Rama is no joke !! But you have to put it in the right hands tuning to get the best out of it !!

He said a light bike like a special versus a limited. You by yourself on a special versus a loaded 2 up limited .
Can't go wrong with anything andrews makes.....

Which cam did you use at the end of the day?
@@nxyz906 30/30 and it’s a beast 😉
Do you like the Andrew's cam over the cycle rama?
Dave plz test the CR485 cam see how it does
I’m sorry but we are officially out of time for this part of our testing. Who knows what the future will bring though.
They are both awesome cams.
You need a better website to order parts
