Good question: I usually wait till there's a sale on Steam before buying games. Like NFS Heat, I got that game recently at 86% off. Regular price was $90.00, and I got it for $13.00. I also got The Crew 2 for $14.00, a 80% discount from its regular price of $70.00. And if I would have waited a bit longer, I could have gotten NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered on sale as well, but I did pay full price ($40) for this one.

Yes it's pretty smooth. Unfortunately 60 FPS is the highest frame rate you can play it at (as far as I know), and it's with all settings on Ultra on a 2560x1440 monitor.

Yes, there are other options as well like the Bugatti Veyron, Gumpert Apollo, etc.
