Dear The Sounds, I just wanted to tell you that you changed my life. You've been my favourite band for nine years, and I can't even begin to say how important you are to me. Your music has helped me through depression, and your origin as a group of friends who (for the most part) met in high school inspired me to keep doing what I love no matter what, no matter how many times people tell me it isn't a "real job". And Maja, to me you are the most amazing person in the world. You are so talented, and I love your energy and your outlook on life. When I'm feeling down, I think of you, and you give me the energy to get right back up again and keep going. You are a SURVIVOR! (And also, at the risk of sounding a tad creepy, which if I do I'm sorry, I freakin' LOVE your voice, and your fashion sense.) So, I just wanted to say, thank you. You guys and your music mean a lot to me.

Im sorry but why do bands do this??? they make an awesome album then nothing for years and then they come out with and EP???? you cant even make an LP in those years??????
It's a pretty traditional format, and makes a lot of sense from a musician's perspective when following up on years of silence. A full-length album takes more time and funds to produce, whereas an EP can be created at a significantly faster rate (though, still time-consuming, I confess) allow them to create a bridge between the silence and their next product. It's often usually a creative choice when there is material they feel is strong, but does not fit the theme of the album they're currently working on. An opportunity to present more material in the long-run, rather than less. Just roll with it and let them pursue their sound as they see fit. They're the creators, and we're merely the consumers.
I think it was the most convenient, the next year 20 years of having created the band, I guess in 2018 they took out an album totally and several surprises for its anniversary
I guess so. Im just disappointed cause i expected to be blown away with another album but i find EPs are just too short to enjoy, since theyre so short, its like when an artist just released a single with no follow up
THeres these things called rest,family, touring, LIFE. They arent just machines that pump out music. You'd probably be the same person to call an album shit if they came out with albums every 2 years.
