Le Meridien is part of Marriott (used points for a 1 night stay) and is uber-excellent. I will definitely rebook this hotel on my next Barcelona go-through. Great Hotel and food looked delicious.
It was a wonderful hotel and had everything. Fab location and very good food. Sorry I was too tired to film dinner there. Thought of running up to room for camcorder but…😱
It’s so wonderful to pick a hotel, unseen of course, and then it turns out to be great! The case here. Merle and I had a small problem, not w/hotel, and staff couldn’t do enough to help us solve it. 🤩

Champagne for breakfast? Please do. That spiral-looking hanging lamp beside the one bed in your room would be perfect for the new place, IMHO. Hope there was room in the bag, lol.
Merle and I did massive shopping on this trip; totally out of character for me but with new house, everything I saw was “Oh wouldn’t that be nice?” 😂 And no. I had to buy an extra carry on for everything. 🙈 Sonny is flipping in his ashes.
Manchego is my husband's favorite cheese. Loved the 8 euro price for a glass of Marques de Riscal rioja. Not sure I'd be up for cod croquettes for breakfast!
Merle said the cod croquettes were really good. But I didn’t try them. I buy Manchego all the time at home. 👍

Amazing prices at the restaurant for sure. 12 Euros for brunch and 7 Euros for wine.....

😂 You sort of did. Purchased home in a Dell Webb community, Rancho Mirage, CA but not moving permanently YET 😂 I am now a Monopoly owner and we see how it goes. How have you been?
