OMG thank you didn't understand why many wouldn't fight me... you don't just have to unlock the expert hunt but actually COMPLETE it (no New tag on your Exp hunt quest list)

You battle them again! Each time there is roughly 10% for the weapon to drop. It doesn't matter if you use Contend or Impress, the chance is still there.

How to unlock the dagger battle-tested npc ? because mine doesn't allow any path action to the npc
