Dr. Ziad, you have very good patience in explaining how to derive the position of the station x as explained used for resection in theodolite surveying. I am looking for a reliable formula in the form of Microsoft excel formula such that position of x can be found by computing the data in excel cell format during site survey so as to compute the work required on the field there and then.
How would you calculate WCB of BX on point B if E and N are both negatives, assuming north is straight up. I know angle B and WCB BA but then require WCB BX. Do you take angle B away from WCB BA to find Theta then take 360 away from theta to give WCB BX?
@@ziadabdeldayem6884 X is on the left side as both values are negative, A is to the right and B is at the bottom below X and A relatively in between the two
Wh 20:47 when inputting the calculation you have shown I end up with a different answer. How do you input this into your calculator when finding the missing angles. Thanks
My doubt is the slope of line AB is rise /run = tan θ. i.e θ=tan -1(N/E). But, In ur case quadrant bearing calculations showing θ=tan -1(E/N). So , which one Is correct sir ?
Hello brother, can you tell me how to press the casket in the 5th point,Because my brother's answer is 15 seconds, and you see 35 seconds, generally speaking, my brother's answer is 78 ° 09'15 "My answer is 78 ° 09'35"
Excellent. Great work done sir. I feel like am a real surveyor now
Sir, you have no idea how much your video has helped me understanding this process. keep doing such videos and inspiring people
Very glad to hear that. Thank you
Sir your tutorials are perfect and good pictures with an excellent explaination, thank you 😊
Thanks
Sir, your tutorial is perfect with those pictures and easy to understand.... Salute to you
Thanks.

Life saver love your video🙏
What angle should you aim for, for best accuracy when backsighting on 2 know points when carrying out a resection?
Great
Thanks
You have helped me sir
Glad to hear that.
How did get rid of the negative sign on the Quadrant bearing of AB
Because we used the absolute values of the change in easting and northing when calculating the QB.

For context my angle B= 76’33/59.46// and my WCB of BA= 46’4//36.72
It depends on the position of X relative to line BA. You need to draw line BA and point X, then calculate WCB (BX) from the the drawing.
@@ziadabdeldayem6884 X is on the left side as both values are negative, A is to the right and B is at the bottom below X and A relatively in between the two
If point X is to the left of line BA, then WCB (BX) = 360 - (B - WCB(BA))
@@ziadabdeldayem6884 perfect, thanks for the help Ziad👍🏻

There is a button on the calculator for degrees minutes seconds (.,,,).
The Coordinate of the instrument point is (x,y,z), you calculated only (x,y), there are more steps to find (z). Thanks for your effort.
Thanks. For calculating Z, you can watch the Topographic Survey video: ruclips.net/video/xIfZi4w5MKM/видео.html

Hi. We are not calculating the slope here. We are calculating the angle between the meridian and line AB.
Well done for this concise presentation. Is very helpful. Which application/software you used for you presentation? Thanks and God bless.
Thanks.
@@ziadabdeldayem6884 OK sir. I want to the the name of the application/software you used for your presentation.
@@oyedelekekereata8865 I used PowerPoint.
@@ziadabdeldayem6884 Thanks a lot. Have a nice day.

Sir, Calculation on Stationing Method using Total Station is waiting.

Why flip the optic??
For reducing the error value.
is this collin's method of resection?
The steps of this method are different from collins.
Thanks
WHY ARENT YOU SHOWING US HOW TO GET THE MEASURED VALUES? I WATCHED THE OTHER VIDEOS AND STILL HAVE NO CLUE WHAT IS GOING ON
Hi .. Wacth this carefully please ruclips.net/video/8HAz-DrC65k/видео.html
🤫🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
7. A+B+X=180 if we calculate it than it smaller than 180 is it anything error too 🥲
