Imagine being this cool when you were 15-19 years old.

Not only can Pau, at 17(!), maintain a controlled singing voice while doing something as physically demanding as drumming (and doing it as intensely as she usually does), somehow she drops one stick so she can gesture with her left hand, and then resume playing with it, all without missing a beat on her right hand! The level of coordination that girl has is insane!
The drummer put a stick down in the middle of the song, kept playing with 1 hand just so she could gesture and gesticulate with a free hand, all the while still playing, and then without missing a beat picks up the second stick and keeps playing. And made it look Effortless. I am seriously impressed. The more I see these girls perform the more I love them. Long May They Play.
And that is just one of many truly epic moments of this performance.
It only takes one hand to play that part…

@@lisapage6689 Yes, and she is one of them. Near the end (3:55), she lost a stick and get a replacement without any problem because, being young, she is a seasoned professional.

I just discovered The Warning only 3 days ago thanks to RUclips algorithm suggestion. These girls could be the best band in history. They are so far ahead of even people much older and they sound great live. Not many bands sound good live. It is amazing at this very brief moment I can buy up close seats to their show for a few hundred bucks. In a year or two this will not be possible it will cost several thousand. I am so impressed with all of these genius girls especially Paola

So this is a diss track in Spanish so the people who dissed them can understand. They actually compared them to the Aztec women who had babies with the Spanish Conquistadors. Which is just stupid on too many levels.
A malinchista is a pejorative term for a Mexican who shows preference for foreign culture, and/or who criticizes Mexico and its culture.
Speculation: It could be that the band has been criticized for only writing, singing, and covering songs in English.

Not speaking Spanish fluently, I never fully understood the lyrics until a friend explained the words and meaning to me... and, I have a newfound, greater appreciation for this song. For you other gringo-types out there, the girls are basically giving a giant middle finger to their critics who are upset that The Warning sings primarily in English and not Spanish. The lesson... don't piss these girls off or they will write a song about you!
@@bubamaranovichok4901 I was a big Grace Vanderwaal fan when she started out. I loved her story and her independence. I stopped following her when her music converted to mainstream pop (as opposed to indie pop/folk) and she started her teenage rebellion stage, including obligatory vulgarity. I am hopeful she'll grow out of that stage and write music that appeals to me again. If not, I wish her the best in her career.

Las escuche en el concierto de MUSE, no las conocía, de primera instancia piensas haa una banda cualquiera. Cuando iniciaron todo cambio, tiene años que no escuchaba algo así, se siente cuando tienen ese espíritu y traen verdadero rock a nosotros, lo representan muy bien.
Los videos se quedan muy cortos, verlas en vivo es como si estuvieran dopadas jajajajaja.

Well , i assume that by now , you already know that The Warning will be opening for Muse five nights at different locations.
Exactente ,se siente la PASIÓN por el ROCK y cuando las ves en vivo .. Notas y te das cuenta que será una banda ESPECIAL.
Esta debe ser de las pocas veces que veo en el mundo musical un tema llevado completamente por el/la baterista en el canto y ejecutando el ritmo sincronizados al mismo tiempo, y con muy buena afinación. Algo fresco, original y con actitud rockera de los orígenes se agradece de ver y disfrutar. Saludos desde Chile

Very VERY different styles, but she is the best female singing drummer I've heard since Karen Carpenter. If I go to their show in Dallas later this year I wonder if at 57 I'll be the oldest one there?

Pau is a beast on that kit, she has the whole set bouncing with how hard she hits, and her vocals are perfect for this song. Dany is killing it on the guitar and backing vocals, and Ale, as always, is in the pocket perfectly on the bass holding it all together with her rock-steady timing. These three extraordinarily talented young women are a joy to watch and listen to. It is easy to see that this song is a very personal response to criticism and insults from some of their fellow countrymen that hurt them deeply. I saw them in May and I'm going to see them again in September. If you ever get the chance to see them perform live, don't miss it. They are truly one of the best live bands I have ever seen. When we came home from their show I immediately joined their Patreon, and I am now an official member of The Warning Army.

The biggest contrast between The Warning and Asian K-Pop style bands it that these ladies know their instruments inside and out. It's great to see an exciting new band who are so tremendously talented. With every song I'm even more enthralled.

No toco guitarra y sin embargo he podido cantar y tocar al mismo tiempo. Me considero bastante bueno tocando batería y cantando por separado pero jamás he podido hacer ambas al mismo tiempo. El hecho de que esta muchacha lo haga perfectamente a su corta edad me sorprende bastante ya que tocar batería requiere demasiada coordinación, y al sobreponerle el canto uno puede rápidamente descoordniarse y no poder hacer ninguna de las dos cosas bien. Un aplauso para ella y también para la banda que está poniendo en alto el rock!

@@federicovelazquez5397 si, la batería es la que sobresale, y el lleva el ritmo muy natural mientras canta pero el bajo me gusta que está ahí en el medio ni tan opacado por la guitarra o la batería y no tampoco sobresale, el volumen está justo, no soy un experto pero es lo que siento al escuchar la canción está bien equilibrado el volumen

The energy and charisma is impossible to describe. If this band comes anywhere close to where you live, drop everything and get tickets for everyone you care about. They’re that good...and they’re just getting started.

Paulina isn't holding back for one second in this song and I really love the energy that comes out of that little body. Ale always grow ten years as soon as she enters the stage and Dany's guitar work on this song is nothing less than perfect. Even Pau's spoken introduction sounds great.

One of the best and the most Punk song of the band. Love it so much. The Warning rules the world.
The bass progression made me feel like I was listening to Iron Maiden. You can totally tell these girls have been highly influenced by classic rock and roll bands like Maiden, Sabath, Metallica and Led Zep but they also have that touch of "Muse" when they do vocal harmonies. It's truly a joy to listen to this and I'm sure they will get very far as they get older and get better at their instrument.
I love that they love Muse. I wish they'd do a couple more Muse covers now that they've gotten older and better or at least add some of that fuzziness do the bass and guitar. Of course, this song is one of many that proves they don't need do covers to be great!

I just wanted to say that it is absolutely brilliant to have that as your "first spanish song". I had to Google-Translate the lyrics, but I think I got the message, which is even stronger with the fact, that this song is spanish, since you silenced everyone who said "You must do spanish, because you are mexican" and put a middlefinger straight in their face with the lyrics. Yo he descubierto a The Warning hace 4 semanas y no paro de oirlas. Creo que el viral de cuando eran niñas tb lo ví. Esta canción en este concierto es para mi de sus mejores actuaciones (y tienen muchas buenas). Me pone los pelos de punta la introducción, como dice uno de los comentarios como si fuese una introducción a un numero circense (se sale Paulina, as always). Y luego esta versión les ha salido muy punk, el sonido de guitarra es inmenso en este tema. Espero verlas en vivo algún día cuando vengan a Europa
