      Dear Beau, I like very much your through instruction but what I'm looking for is instruction on building website using Gutenberg builder. I purchased MotoPress theme (it's old from 2018) and I got stacked on it home page. On top I did not do correct set up which call for clean WordPress. I'm missing contact/location page and do not know how to make it. Please let me know

    Great tutorial. I learned Wordpress a while ago, then switched to code based design, now I'm revisiting it. This was a really helpful refresher. Wordpress feels kind of awkward to me, but this tutorial makes it easier to get used to. Much different than coding, but kind of more fun imo. Not as much control, but you can get a cool site faster and learn a lot just by playing around with the interface.

    • @garybeltrand5802
      @garybeltrand5802 Год назад +6

      @@sudhara4073 In my opinion, if you don't have any experience with web design/coding, learning Wordpress and using a high quality theme would probably be the easiest way to get a pro looking site fast. The Wordpress framework/theme can do much of the functionality and creativity for you, you just add and adjust contents. With code you have to do every detail of the function and style manually, and it takes a lot of time/practice.

    Dear Sir,
    Thanks for your informative video. I went step by step with what you said, and now I am in the process of completing my web. I have a problem with the home page build step. I did everything; I entered the image, made the logo, wrote the main theme and the description in the second box, but this writing does not appear as transparent as you did in the video, and it is located in a white square box with black font. At this stage, I do not know what to do to make these fonts appear transparent, and everything I do does not make any difference. Would you please guide me?
    I appreciate your effort. Khalil

I likely won't use WP other than creating templates/themes to sell because I prefer old school, but WP seems to be a great choice when you want something fast.

    Hey WP master. I like your tutorial, certainly one of the better videos. I followed exactly what u used - Ocean & the Lawyer theme. I followed along with you and created a website, which looks amazing. I did it on my PC and checked everything is ok, including tablet & mobile. However, when I see the website in my mobile phone, the original "Lawyer" title appears on the left side, opposite the "Menu". I can't figure out how to get rid of the word, "Lawyer" Can you advise how it can be fixed? Appreciate your help.

    Hello there! Amazing Video ! I'm editing my first website Ever thanks to you ! And I'm Loving it 🥰
    I apparently have an issue tho. The Elementor option doesn't show up in the top bar. I deleted and reinstalled Elementor pluggin, but it still doesn't show up. Do you have an idea of why is this, and how to fix it ?
    Thanks in advance !
    And thanks again for your Amazing Work !!

    Hey, thank you for this awesome tutorial.
    One question: if I want to customize the templates, CSS and JS by hand through editing the code, how can I export the source code and reimport it upon edition?
    Thanks.

      @@canardeur8390 you must have figured it by now but for others, you do it by going in the dashboard and in the sidebar look for the appearance option, hover over it and click on the Theme Editor. There you can modify your wordpress template source code from stylesheets, javascript to template php files.

    Is there a way to remove the maintenance/editing portion of the WordPress engine from your website? Ideally, I’d like to run a local Linux VM with WordPress for modifying and testing my website changes, save the updated web site to an archive, push the website archive to my website and overwrite the existing website with the updated archive. The idea behind this is to reduce exposure to hacking that the maintenance/editing code creates, reduce server overhead, and fully test changes before pushing them to a production site.

      you can build your website in a local host. then you should buy a domain & hosting to publish it.
