I love THX! Sure gave me the creeps at first, but then I got used to it. My favorite ones are the ones with Tex, especially the one where he has a Moo Can.
I even saw a THX logo at a Cinemark theater and it was the original Cimarron logo which scared me (because that was when I still have THXphobia since the DVD opening of Home On the Range and the logo was repeating because of a crappy DVD player) and what movie did I see at that time it was Disney's 2005 Chicken Little. once I looked up the logo because I was having flash backs from that moment and I was surprised it was from the 80's and it blew the speakers. Now I'm surprised that the Cinemark theater did not get rid of the logo since it was known to blow up the speakers.
What do I have to say about THX? Some of these trailers were nostalgic, such as the THX "Tex" trailer. You say "Grand" is your favorite THX trailer. I like that trailer fine, but my favorite trailer is Genesis. By GOD, that trailer is amazing! When I first saw it, I was left speechless because of how AWESOME it is!
I'm not a big fan of THX--When I was very little, my parents wanted me to watch a movie. Right when my parents turn it on, the logo appears on the screen, like it's just laughing at me! And until this day, I've realized, and it'll get worse as it gets better: Brother: "Hey let's watch Star Wars!" Me: "No! We can't because it has the THX logo!" And right when Owen starts the movie, a big Movie monster stares him in the face.
Honestly I really hate the THX logo, however I defiantly agree you about "Grand" being your favorite because I actually like it too and it sounds much calmer than the original deep note. I have thxphobia since I was five (and I am on the autism spectrum) and that logo was one of the top things I am scared of.
I agree The THX logo is amazing For the brogway logo I prefer the VHS version because it sounds more fantastic The DVD version is good too And I also prefer the digitally master version of the logo In witch the digitally master version is seen on all of the non Disney VHS and DVDs Disney would also the digitally master version but most of it is just the Lucasfilm Ltd version At first on disney releases the digitally master version was only seen on the 1997 VHS of Bambi until the 2001 platum edition VHS of snow white and the seven dwarfs and then the digitally master version was used for home media for now on Some 2003 disney tapes used the Lucasfilm Ltd version

I agree, nice introduction.
I used to be scared of it during my childhood but while watching the DVD of Toy Story in my family car I started to overcome my fears.
We love THX too! This logo used to scare us when we were little to be honest, but now we're really used to it!👍
