Jake Zepeda lol same here just saw it in my recommended and pressed on it and don't regret it these vids are super entertaining and also do more with ginger spice!
Blarcey g I’ve actually turned these on while working in a Warehouse. Weirdly helps me work better. It’s UPS btw so it’s not some shit Company, they are the Warehouse you want to make a Career our off. But yah, found it randomly, haven’t looked back, agree on several point too.
This retail series is doing so well! I love it! And we don't have store to store shipments, but we did start a new rule! Nothing is allowed to be sent back to warehouse on the return truck. Now we just have to toss beyond broken items and take the loss because warehouse doesn't want to deal with it. I love when we get to do more work for no bump in pay
I never buy a used game from gamestop unless it has the original box, and then the box actually has to be in good condition and not look like its been through a war
When I worked at Home Depot the store to store shipments sucked. You'd request however many of an item because the inventory said they had 20 and they'd send you one. Then the one they sent would be already opened so it would sit there because customers didn't want it. We couldn't order others because we "had stock". Then when I worked there as soon as the shipment was scanned into the docking bay the counts of the items went to the floor. There were a lot of pissed of customers because the count said we had 5 but we either didn't get them or they weren't on the floor yet.
When I was at Advance, we would get store to store transfers as well. The way it happened was X garage or X customer would need a part for their car. We wouldn't have it so we'd call the closest store that did. If it was for a garage that our store did business with you'd go pick it up and deliver it. Now if the reverse was true, a driver from the store that needs it would come pick it up from you. There was a receipt of transfer that you'd sign.
I just found you today but I really enjoy your videos. Probably because most of my off time i like to drink and talk about/play games so I think we'd get along well haha
I work in a retail PC Hardware shop in Germany (a chain of 30 stores) and make minimum wage. just hearing how broken the gamestop system is, just puzzles me, we would order something from other shops or from our distributor when we ran out or allmost ran out and wed get in trouble if we didnt send the stuff other shops wanted or if we sent any extra. i can really relate to your videos, especially to those of stupid customers or anything although we didnt have those ridiculous goals or anything, we just had some competition sometimes when the guy who sells the most ... whatever, like asus products wins a gaming laptop or like 400€ in gas station credit. we also had some stuff randomly disappear somehow and we never found out where it went .... i hope tho i wont work there for that much longer. Its just nothing to do because of the online business im basically on 9gag, youtube etc. 4-5 Hours a day and be working like 3-4 anyway, i like your videos, keep it up!
Maybe that's why they never look at other stores inventory for me. I'd be reluctant to request 1 good item that will sell... just to get a box full of garbage. They never offered to bring the item to the store. They always told me I would have to drive 3 hours away for it... which sucked.
I worked overnight at a convenience store for five years, and I hated every minute of it - but yes, retail jobs do have some redeeming qualities. For me, it was sweeping the parking lot. It was a chance to clear my mind, to focus on something other than the soul-crushing despair.
Bro, COD, Skyrim, Uncharted 3 and Arkham City came out within a couple weeks of each other. I'm sure that's what happened. I'd be mind blown seeing stacks of those back there. I never saw it myself when I worked there in 2015 except Fallout 4
Hey buddy! I've got a schedule layed out for my channel and I've got the recap episode to explain things done. I'm on my way!!! :) Cheers again for your advice. Man, loving these eps hey. Fukn hilarious or more just intriguing to listen to. Gonna be watching these regularly now. B good!
FANTAVISION 😎 Yeh cool I started the channel just for myself and if people like it then sweet. I try give people what I think they might like but at the same time do my own thing. I've reached a few people promoting mental health awareness already so its already a win I suppose. Yeh legend, cheers!
Honestly the only reason I still shop there is because the staff at the one closest to me knows me very well and will hook me up if they can. Plus the Best Buy local to me closed and the only other options for games is an overpriced small game shop, target, and Walmart.
Have any sketchy customers or interesting thefts? When I worked at Target, I had a three guys come in with credit cards and buy a camera and an ipad or ipod each. They wouldn't let us ID them and they came around twice a month until I never saw them again.
I bought Medal of Honor Warfighter at Gamestop, Day 1. It seemed pretty decent to me, but then again I never really mess with multiplayer online games a lot.
I asked an employee at my Gamestop if they would get an item from another store. They flat out refused, said that is something they cant do. Was i being lied to by a lazy worker that just didnt want to do it?
My local gamestop called to stores close and found me a copy of Secret of Mana . (the last copy in that store) and asked em to hold it for me. So I drove over and got it. I did get a X-Box 360 shipped to me at home last year that a dude at Gamestop ordered for me.
Mike , did they do what mine did ? At least see if you could drive to that other Gamestop and pick it up ? Because I never did ask to ship it to that store. I just was like , I'll drive myself over to it.
Bruh, I went in the other day and my store had gotten 16 boxes that were s.t.s. The key had left around 100 game cases on the back counter. That was just empties and games that needed to be filed. There was a six foot box standing up empty behind the counter and a few boxes filled with trash next to it. An extremely busy day too. The key just said "peace" and left, then the manager who gets stuff done called out so let's just say these shipments were a pain in the ass. I am not a representative don't fire me.
I know this is off topic, but whats the deal with the survey on the receipt? Do people actually win the $100 gift card and how does it work? Is it for the whole United States that they pick the "winners" or is it 25 for each store?
I work in Game in the UK, we have had many consoles, 360s/ps3s, come in faulty or faulty controllers. Another time we got a game without it's artwork so you obviously can't sell it on... ah good times....
1st rule of asking for something you want from another store. Always ship them extra crap you can't sell along with the one item they actually wanted. That's the price you pay for asking for a store transfer.
This is late LOL but you should do a video on go backs! I remember at my store I had stacks and stacks of guts to go back on the floor because I literally had no hours to put them back. My DM saw it at my inventory haha and called it gut city! LOL.
I would’ve complained to the District manager & Regional manager so they could bring it up to Corporate . But you must explain why it’s costing the store money(if any GameStop employees are listening ) that’s how clothing stores work
D Harris as someone who has worked multiple minimum wage jobs and tried to go to management, higher management and even corporate... none of them care. And im talking shit that would shut down resteraunts....
I remember when I bought la noire for the ps3 I was really angry that it was defective and top of that I had the receive didn’t accept it. I remember another story when I pre order xenoverse 2 for pc I didn’t get the special pre order skins I was really pissed
FANTAVISION hey man glad you replied i drink colts most of the time but my favorite is Heineken and i get speciality beers to like you if you can find banana bread beer i recommend its good really like yo vides if you play switch maby we could play together let me know i play street fighter xenovers 2 mario kart 8 rocket league and most others salutations from canada😃love your vids looking forward for more🤙
Back in the day MOH definitely rivaled COD in the early days.. Once COD 4: MW came out they took the lead for sure but I remember the early games of MOH and I ACTUALLY like MOH more! Good times.
When I worked in retail any time anything that was sent to us it was just thrown in a box. I worked at a particular well known fragrance store so this usually would end in disaster. Boxes would usually over filled. This would lead to alot of merch that had to be damaged out. The most annoying thing would generally when we did receive it, it would be the wrong product. It would never fail a customer would want a huge amount of a particular product and the store would recieve somthing similar to it. I hated having to explain why I would have to damage out the product or why I had to throw away other product because it could not be returned. One case almost cost me my job becuase it looked suspicious and coorparate claimed I was trying to steal. I was like what the hell would I need with 50 plus women's lotion. Im a freakin dude. Fortanatly my associate's who worked with me that night were able to co-oberate my story. The most busy time for my stores shipment was any holiday. Christmas was the worst. Each day for weeks we would have 600 box shipments a day. We could not keep the floor stacked quick enough. It was a complete mad house of people. However I enjoyed it because I was busy and it would keep my numbers up and I could easily meet my stores sales numbers.
I gotta be straight... I might go and try to work at Gamestop, Just to basically say that "I'm not about to lie to the customer. Sorry." if they fire me, well I can pretty much tell all my friends NOT to go to game stop anymore.
Man sorry store-to-store are so crazy. At Joann's it usually just a few yards of some fabric or a few of some small item or like one sewing machine if the customer asks. And it's usually between the stores in the city or one state over if necessary and that's rare because customers can go online. It usually just happens for wedding stuff really. "I need 20 yards of this floral fabric now!" "Uh....good luck with that bitch."
I'm weird, and I kinda want to work at Gamestop as a second job over the summer just to see if this shit still happens. I have plenty of financial security with my main job, so I can just bail whenever I want. This could be fun...
I'm from the DFW area in Texas & I pre-ordered from GAMESTOP twice & I noticed they opened my packages does this happen to anyone else I hate that they do this because other retailers DON'T & I have heard they take chases out of customers pre-ordered boxes this pisses me off. Im getting everything sent to my house from now on because I literally pre- ordered all the carebears at hot topic for pickup & received two chases they are my first ever chase Funko pops & I know if that was GAMESTOP they would've opened the box & got my chases well the goodluck bear because they had some on shelf so it would've been an easy trade. I've worked for the post office and it's against the law to open anyone's mail even if it's a magazine we will get fired for looking at it why does GAMESTOP let this fly.
Speaking of Gamestop selling toys. Since Toys R Us has gone bankrupt and may be shrinking or going out of business; do you think Gamestop will adjust thier business to try and fill the vacuum or anything?
Akios Eres gamestop started receiving the old toys r us power rangers exclusives..... yup. I won’t be surprised if I see some random LEGOs there, that’s not the games.
@FANTAVISION Would you please dampen the sound when you accidentally hit the mic in future videos if it is possible? The video about game manuals it happened, and it was quite loud. I wear head phones out of consideration for others. Thank you! :D
I had to deal with shady store to store transfers like this too, it sucks......also, have you had Rubaeus from Founders Brewing for your video yet? Very good fruity beer.
AGAIN, and I see this with almost every complaint about Gamestop, EVERY RETAIL BUSINESS DOES THIS! God, so many videos online by younger people who have no real knowledge of retail other than working for a little while at one. As far as bad employees, yep every retail chain (and EVERY business) have them too. Haven't had the issue at my Gamestop except for one old manager they hired one time who knew nothing about games nor did he care about them.
Spawn Cap ive worked ten years in retail and fastfood. Its all shit. The managment doesnt care how shitty of a product or service they sell as loong they can peddle out more shit than they take in on refunds... i mean ffs even customers are apethetic to how shitty capitalist business has become. Cant tell you how many times i was barred from helping a disgruntled customer by a stupid corporate policy and they said "ill never be back" yet they always came back.
I can't help but think every time you show you're pouring your beer I think "hey, you should use a glass for your beer. They may be rubbing their nuts all over the bottle."
I got like 20 or more taken off my first Switch because i put a decal on it and they called it "defective "...just keep it on! No HAVE to peel them off. They make you lose more money for dumb crap
Our Gamestop has a disk on the counter that's scratched to hell, markered up, and almost snapped in half. It has a sign on it saying they will accept anything, even something as damaged as that.
Side note, I pointed it out and the guy confirmed the sign and even took disk out, smashed it with a hammer a few times, then put it back. It had a chip in it at that point.
And theyll pay yah 1$ in store credit and resell it for 15$. Gamestop is a scam. Im not a pc master race guy though i do think it has was more pros than console. But the best thing about pc gaming is steam. Its like gamestop but way easier to find shit and not have to deal with other bullshit
If I receive another Destiny 2. I’m gonna go on a stabbing spree.... not really but I’m tired of seeing draws filled with Destiny 2. Especially when a store in our district closed because of rent. All the Destiny 2s! 😭
I have no idea why I started watching you but I enjoy your stories. 👌
Jake Zepeda lol same here just saw it in my recommended and pressed on it and don't regret it these vids are super entertaining and also do more with ginger spice!
Yea i add most of these to my asmr playlists

I wish there were Gamestop employees like you at my game stop in southern Cali. I now shop at Best Buy.

Katherine Fotopoulos you work at gamestop!? You're like the most beautiful gorgeous girl ever!
Blazer op No I work at a bargain store near me, my friend warned me our local gamestop sucks so I never applied!
Katherine Fotopoulos that's cool. Such a beautiful girl should never have to go through what games top makes its employer go through!
@@blazerop8037 Jesus you want some water bro?
Just found this channel and I am really enjoying it so far. Also I really relate and feel your pain from when I worked at McDonalds for two years.
Deranged why would you stay for 2 years if it was shit
You are a hero for saving those DS boxes, you should sell some of the extras to people.
I need that case rant video!! Loving these videos Fanta, I always look forward to an upload, keep up the amazing content!!
I don't know how you ended up on my feed, but your stories are funny as hell and entertaining. Keep it up!!
Thanks Alex! Happy you stumbled upon the video and enjoyed it!
i say it was dumb to get rid of the case to begin with i pesonally would not buy a game without a case not even a used game
Dan Duncker GameStop wants to make all their money on used games but completely devalue them by treating them like crap.
I never buy a used game from gamestop unless it has the original box, and then the box actually has to be in good condition and not look like its been through a war
Please do a video on GameStop throwing away DS cases. Man that always pissed me off!
The Enigmatic Dude oh that was the worst
Why barely anyone buys ds games. Waste of space
Love listening to the retail stories Fanta! Keep up the great content bro!
Thanks CJ, will do!
It's so frustrating not just that they threw away the cases but also that I'd buy every single one dollar ds game they had If it just had a case

Fanta great series man, I enjoy these stories a lot.
Enjoying the channel. I've worked a good amount of time in retail and it is an interesting/frustrating business.
Love getting my early release 💕

Ever have the those RSBs where you sent out 3 copies of a game but then get another one from another store with 5 copies of the game you just sent.
Back at it again with that voodoo ranger my man! One of the best IPAs for sure.
Definitely agree! Best bang for your buck haha
Love these videos. We don't have game stop in Canada but eb games is like the same thing.
Brandon Worthing eb games is owned by game stop if you didn't know
Yeah I know

In Belgium "Game Mania" will only keep box/disk/manual and rest of paperwork even Club Nintendo codes they would toss away to save space.
Honestly the only reason I still shop there is because the staff at the one closest to me knows me very well and will hook me up if they can. Plus the Best Buy local to me closed and the only other options for games is an overpriced small game shop, target, and Walmart.

Ghost L You cannot ID them even if you wanted to. None of those items require an ID.
I bought Medal of Honor Warfighter at Gamestop, Day 1. It seemed pretty decent to me, but then again I never really mess with multiplayer online games a lot.
The vid and topic was great! Interesting to hear what goes on.
You're great fanta! -Zachettes
Had them do a transfer from another store about 12 years ago. Stores was about 65 miles away but I really wanted knights of the old republic 2.
That last game you were talking about. I believe it was Batman Arkham City. Lalaloopsie was also popular at the time.
Cool! my Gamestop just sucks I guess LOL
Just lazy, its possible to just call the store and have it shipped
Robert go fuck yourself
Mike , did they do what mine did ? At least see if you could drive to that other Gamestop and pick it up ? Because I never did ask to ship it to that store. I just was like , I'll drive myself over to it.
My gamestop got so crowded i cant even walk in a straight line for 3 steps lol so many toys in the middle
I remember one time buying a game that was in one of those little packages for 5 bucks which was worth like 30 online.
1st rule of asking for something you want from another store. Always ship them extra crap you can't sell along with the one item they actually wanted. That's the price you pay for asking for a store transfer.
The GameStop stores in New York they rarely answer there dam phone to get a shipment.
I did this at Best Buy, it was a lot of fun to go around the store looking for the stuff. lol
Watching a guy known as Fanta while I'm drinking Tango out of a skull shaped pint glass... hmmmm...
Battle of the orange soft drinks.
This is late LOL but you should do a video on go backs! I remember at my store I had stacks and stacks of guts to go back on the floor because I literally had no hours to put them back. My DM saw it at my inventory haha and called it gut city! LOL.
Why cover the webcam that's built into a monitor but not the external 1?
I usually take it off and aim it at the wall but I used the camera right after the video was over.
ever thought about doing a game collection video? I'd love to see what games you got
That voodoo ranger is no joke. 2 of those and its game over
Ever get multiple shipments of battletoads? Trying to figure out where they all went.
Haha XD Only got one call about that game actually
I would’ve complained to the District manager & Regional manager so they could bring it up to Corporate . But you must explain why it’s costing the store money(if any GameStop employees are listening ) that’s how clothing stores work

I hate the $6 shipping fee for online orders, and like every other place has free shipping (typically above like $25)
Thank God you don't work at my GameStop I sold so much broken controllers and scratch games
Lol definitely wouldn't get past me
I love all your videos Fanta!
I remember when I bought la noire for the ps3 I was really angry that it was defective and top of that I had the receive didn’t accept it. I remember another story when I pre order xenoverse 2 for pc I didn’t get the special pre order skins I was really pissed

I sill can't believe what they were thinking calling it MoH; Warfighter.
That's like Dice calling Bad Company *_Battlefield: Army Guys_*

I ended up finding a bunch of Gamecube games, and 3DS Games in display boxes I didn’t get caught or in trouble for it

So with the rise of digital games, online shopping, etc what are the odds gamestop will still be in business in a few years?
This man is going to be RICH once Pokemon DS game cases become rare and High Value
out of district transfers are done still, but they are determined by corporate. much of the stuff you get from them is bullshit.
Why is this in my recommendations now 😂
I can't help but think every time you show you're pouring your beer I think "hey, you should use a glass for your beer. They may be rubbing their nuts all over the bottle."
Hahaha XD T-shirt idea?
I would buy that so fast
was that some asmr in the beginning?
Im a new sub and literally going through all your videos.
Thanks HeartlessHatter! Glad you are enjoying them!
I got like 20 or more taken off my first Switch because i put a decal on it and they called it "defective "...just keep it on! No HAVE to peel them off.
They make you lose more money for dumb crap
That's so stupid. (Why did you trade in your switch??)
I'm not sure what's worse... scratched games or Gamestop "buffed" games...
You like cases huh...are you...ARE YOU SPEEDYDIVER!?
Hey Fanta! Idk if youre ever going to do like a viewer submission video for bad gamestop experiences but I got a couple for you.
Definitely will be in the future! Send all of your bad GameStop experiences to my twitter!
Your not the only one I hate buying a used game with no original box it bothers me

> literally anything from New Belgium Brewery
You have good taste in beer, dude.
So glad I don’t work retail.
Gamestop= It just works. (at least most locations mine is not that bad tho) Todd Howard Song reference if anybody is wondering.
Its like gamestop but way easier to find shit and not have to deal with other bullshit
oooh my god I forgot about those!!
It aas Skyrim and Mass Effect 3 that came out together.
Otherwise known as RSB's (regional stock balancing)
Black ops 1... was in Vietnam for a quarter of the storyline
Glad I work at a GameXchange ☺️☺️
Sounds like a game where Go Fish meets Uno. XD
I like your shit man it’s very chill
Thanks erick!
It sucks cuz warfighter was actually fun cuz it was a mix between cod and battlefield
And the campaign was kickass
I dig the cup.
If I receive another Destiny 2. I’m gonna go on a stabbing spree.... not really but I’m tired of seeing draws filled with Destiny 2. Especially when a store in our district closed because of rent. All the Destiny 2s! 😭
