Her kids have two separate fathers. The younger kid’s dad is like a father to both.

Her children have two different fathers. Her ex husband is a better father to her oldest child than her biological father. There will definitely be a cultural clash between her and Hamza. She’s a nurse practitioner and more than financially capable of caring for herself and her children on her own rather comfortably. She’s looking for companionship and literally someone that could be a father figure to her children. However, I’m pretty sure Hamza doesn’t have the same vision she has. Nothing about this will be “traditional”. She’s established in her career and chances are would have to provide for Hamza until he got on his feet. Nvm the fact that they don’t have real communication with the language barrier. It’s a mess.

Chances are , there are no chances. She has to provide for him till he get's his work VISA. That could take a while. A few months at best.

He's a kid in a candy store and she wants her young buck, but has terrible taste in men given her 0-2 record. Terrible taste, immaturity and insecurity are all international languages. We're just happy to be here

She was talking about her ex-husband was more of a father to her oldest child then that Child’s biological father. She has two kids by two different men. She was only married to the father of her youngest child.

I understood that her ex is a good father for her daughter (as in she is from a previous guy), not the current boyfriend (because she was talking how the ex is good at parenting). Her problems would exist in any kind of relationship, even with people from another religion or even without a religion: they barely speaks the same language and she's hidden things from him. I just hope that she doesn't turn this in a "it's your religion fault" show, but I'm not hopeful -.-...

In late. Just came across your channel. I love you guys are talking in the perspective of Arab men. Drives me crazy when I see western women getting involved with Arab men, especially Muslim men, with an expectation of making them accept western women behavior.
I'm American, married to an Egyptian. Accepted Islam long before meeting him, so I at least had that guideline going for me lol. BUT, there were other things we discussed extensively, including dealings with exes and kids. It's a sensitive matter that should never be overlooked, because honestly this wasn't something that I had thought about before. I mean, my dealings with my ex has always been "feeding with a long-handled spoon" as my father would say. Keep as much distance as possible. So it was very easy to go a step further and not communicate at all unless absolutely necessary.
A lot of other details we worked out and made agreements on. Very fair and two-sided. But it takes an open mind that too many western women are unwilling to consider having.
I am very fortunate to have a husband who has a clear understanding of where I started, very patient and communicates well regarding his needs from me. We nailed down a lot before making decisions and that has made the path we are on that much easier. Alhamdullilah

As a new Muslim I was brought up Christian. A lot of the church's say there's a verse in the Bible that God says that everything is clean to eat and seventy percent of Christians in America eat bacon.

I'm American, but I live in Morocco for the past six years and I was like OMG during each and every episode of Hamza and Memphis. I couldn't belive the amount of intercultural ignorance going on.

I was talking to a man from Pakistan. Things that he started asking of me were definitely on the haram side. Now I am not a follower of Islam but I respect the religion and my Muslim sisters way too much to not understand the double standard that was being presented. Nope. I shut that down with the quickness.

I didn’t understand the rant about bacon, maybe because this food isn’t a thing in my country.
From what I understood, the conversation was supposed to address hypocrisy, because Jesus didn’t eat bacon… well he didn’t eat seafood either or many other food that are allowed in islam, so what’s the deal, neither Christians or Muslims eat like Jesus, nor follow the 613 Jewish laws.
The only hypocrisy I see is when non-practicing Muslims follow only one rule of their religion, not eating pork, but break every far more important ones, like salat, fornication etc.

Yo what? I know a lot of this is made up. But he needs to know everything. If you're a single mother and have children or even a child and you want to maybe find another partner or relationship they have a right to know. My boyfriend knows I have a child and how my child's father is. Then again my child's father hasn't been around since my kid was a baby. I told him I'm not asking for him to be a father figure, or a step parent. But oddly enough they talk and have a fun relationship.

Yes that is correct about bacon. I really don’t eat bacon anymore not for religious reasons, but because it’s not healthy for me. I would like to spiritually fast and understand what is biblically healthy for me. I think it would help me gain weight. Love Loush and Ibby!!!
