Excellent presentation of the Structure of the Book of Mormon. Great selection of scholars, well versed in the study of the Book of Mormon. It was good to see Brother Todd Parker again as I had him as an instructor at the University of Arizona around 1994-5. I was not a young student but a "late bloomer" trying to earn my degree and I did in 1995. Thanks for all your hard work and consistent dedication to the Lord and teaching His children.

I made all the boxes and did a full class on it for Seminary kids - it was GREAT and the best way to explain to youth and/or adults of the "structure of the Book of Mormon! Thanks

This segment was so facilitating! I truly appreciate all the professors for discussing the structure of the Book of Mormon. It has provided my husband & myself with a greater understanding. I love the Book of Mormon, and the Lord all the time for bringing it to pass. I also love the Holy Bible & Doctrine & Covenants and appreciate how they all work together to testify of the divinity of Our loving Father in Heaven & His son Jesus Christ, our Savior.
Anyone that gave a thumbs down, in my opinion either refuses to believe the divinity of this gift or they truly didn’t follow along and judged it unfairly.

We must acknowledge that those large plates which were painstakingly kept and abridged by Mormon were not of little worth. Although we know the small plates were kept for a wise purpose (for the debut edition which we presently enjoy), we often consider that the large plates were secular, and we might set them at naught.
I want to underline that that was not the view of Nephi.
These (small plates) "contained the more sacred things.... Nevertheless, I do not write anything upon plates save it be that I think it is sacred.... For the things which some men", (like Nephi), "esteem to be of great worth, both to the body and soul, others", (like us today), "set at naught and trample under their feet."
I think we may assume that the sacrifice of those record keepers was also viewed by the Lord to be of great worth.
The history of the Book of Mormon will not be complete until the words on the precious 116 manuscript pages are restored. These words were painstakingly abridged during a horrible civil war the likes of which we have not yet tasted by a man who knew first hand that we might be warned. These sacred words were brought to our knowledge from those other (large) sacred plates.
These records may yet be brought to light (as well as the sealed portion of the gold plates), and restored to the Book of Mormon.
I will not be surprised if the lost manuscript should contain detailed information concerning the manner in which the House of Israel struggled, sacrificed, fought and worshiped, including some of their most sacred experiences in the temple, (and tabernacle), which might otherwise be too convincing for those of us of little faith to be sufficiently tried in our day.
I feel that I am convicted by these things.
By the way, there may be hope for us yet, if we truly humble ourselves, but prophecy tells us the sword of justice is hanging over our heads, while we are at ease being neither hot nor cold like our fellow Gentiles were in Hitler's Germany.
The resurrected Lord's warning to us Gentiles in 3 Nephi 20-30, are dire, after all the knowledge and blessings that we have received.
Europe felt something of this wrath at the end of the last war.
After we have received a knowledge of the Lord, if we don't repent, and if we should scatter the immigrants of the house of Israel, who are fleeing from their tormentors, as we are now doing against those we say are illegals, we may read about our coming calamity in those eleven chapters of the words of Christ concerning us Gentiles.
If we don't peep or lift a finger to save those who were given this land in these chapters by the Lord; if we fear men more than God; if we are too afraid to warn our neighbor or to speak of Christ-- his warnings and his promised blessings at home, at work, or at play: then now is the time to repent. Now is the time to be enlisted.
May God give me courage to do so, I pray.

Ether 3:1 tells us that the plates of Ether had information about the creation of the world. Moroni didn't write about those things because he supposed that they were had among the Jews. What we have of the plates does start at The Tower of Babel so they are close in this video.

There are over 160 passages that speak of the lord Jesus Christ.
22 men named who saw Christ, some form of Christ is mentioned on avagage of every 1.7 vs.
The new testament mentioned of a form of Christ name on average of every 2.1 vs.
The name of the savior appears more frequently in the book of Mormon than in the the new testament.

@Nathan Wilson By the way, one by the name of Paul Gregersen DEBUNKED the arrogant EGYPTOLOGISTS, the ANTI-MORMONS are having horrible nightmares. Google ''Book of Abraham pt 8 the Vegas files youtube'', see the video DEBUNKING the ANTI-MORMON crowd, see the eighth video of videos causing the anti-Mormon crowd to have those very horrifying nightmares about the Egyptologists being proven wrong.

Please follow the footnote about book in that same verse, and I think it's a personal revelation to Lehi, but u can still know about it, I believe we are all entitled to personal revelations... I stands to be corrected if there's the need to
