What do you do when it is below freezing and your outside water is shut off?

In Oklahoma, our sub-freezing periods don't last that long. I try to watch the weather and clean up before deep cold hits. By the time it warms up again I'm good to go. Need to wash/bleach when things are super-dry and cold isn't as high. Hoses are usually left outside by the hose bibb, but disconnected and drained.

U had every kind but my kind of finch feeder. I have no idea how to take it apart & don't even know hiw to explain it to u. No screws or nuts, no tabs to push, nothing to turn & pull. It's maddening & I can't find any video or help. I threw away the label which only said what brand it was & I can't remember that. It's plastic with yellow top, bottom, & perches that are in a large plastic piece shaped like an upside down pear & the feed opening is in the center of star shaped slits.
