Nice build. I think I am not the only one that would appreciate a video of a complete build. From rust to riches. Show us how you work on these beauties. Thanks for the cool videos.
Beautiful work as always. Your attention to detail is second to none. With putting that many test miles on do you worry about little use damage items? (Rock chips, etc.)
Please don't hate me Mr. Ward, I am turning my 77 FJ40 into a "rat rod". Laying frame, tucking late model Toyota 17s. Bagged on 80 series cruiser axles. Lexus 4.0 v8 for motivation. Love your work!
another great show of course! I'm curious... if a customer requested a Toyota/Lexus powertrain, how excited would you be???? They have great choices available.....
absolutely stunning as always Mr. Ward. I have a question though, how do you make your own custom paint colors? I have a 1982 ford in light spruce and that color was only offered for that year. for obvious reasons, i can't find any commercially available paints that match the color. It is in serious need of a repaint and I want to keep it unique and true to the original. thank you for the amazing restoration video Mr. Ward and thank you to all who may be able to help me with my problem!
Hi Jonathan, do the Alloy bodies require a bit of body filling before powder coating? Or are they fabricated fairly true. The finish is impressive. Thanks mate
This might be a stupid/noob question, but do you own an FJ (or a Bronco for that matter) yourself? Not like you need to when you get to drive a "new" one every week or so! Another cool build - if I didn't like the patina on my '72 Land Rover that's the colour I'd respray it in. Small point, but when it's on fire!, do you think you could spot that extinguisher through the smoke?
777jones, yes that's what I mean. Also, I am a Jeep guy (I have a Grand Cherokee) and have always liked the old Wagoneer. The Land Cruiser is like the Wagoneer in style.

My favorite build of yours so far, it's spectacularly simple.
I saw an ICON truck right here in Northern Illinois! It was like spotting a movie star! Cool!

Well, I like the funky "F" now that I'm used to seeing it!
Jonathan, I'd like to hear of any tech hurdles you have to overcome on these builds.
Nice!

I have a fj40 car left by my father but now it's not maintained. I hope one day I have more money to make a cool FJ40 car like this.

Oh and you need to change your title. #116 not 115.
is this in newhall ranch where Fivepoint is building all those homes? looks like al ot of construction trucks..
What's the deal with the doors, why can't you reproduce them like you do with other body parts?
i won't see your videos anymore... i'm in colombia those beauties don't seems here.
Have you ever done a Wagoneer or a Land Cruiser?
Robert Promm he is literally driving a Cruiser in this video...
MyEman3, it's an FJ not a ,Land Cruiser. Different body type.
Robert Promm you should listen to the previous reply. But in case you mean the 1980s-1990s Land Cruisers, Jon does those at his TLC brand.
777jones, yes that's what I mean. Also, I am a Jeep guy (I have a Grand Cherokee) and have always liked the old Wagoneer. The Land Cruiser is like the Wagoneer in style.
Great job now grab yourself a cup of mud
do we have to actually WATCH you talk? might be better to hear what you say while looking at the truck instead of just your talking head.
