If they can make a return since 2006. Don’t forget CBS, the last time they broadcasted the Daytona 500 was the being of the 2000. If CBS, NBC, & FOX broadcast the Daytona 500 each year that would be Interesting to see.

Fox has always disgusted me. They've always treated the sport, and us fans, like we're stupid. All that corny, aw shucks, crap... and all the rest. I was really hoping they wouldn't re-up their tv rights.

If you picture the daytona 500 with the current nbc broadcast with no changes, it would actually feel like a huge event, but fix makes it seem like just another race

I Suggest You Should Do A Video About How Bad NASCAR on ESPN Coverage Is During The Second Run From 2007-2014.
Commercials every 8 laps or so.

One big issue is that there are no stars anymore in nascar..

No dale sr, dale jr, gordon, stewart, martin, jarrett, and about 30 others...
It used to be a fun exciting enjoyable product..
Now its just a bunch of no name nobodies driving laps...
They come from money with no excitement when they win! They don’t promote drivers anymore or try
I’m excited about Leigh Diffey doing NASCAR on NBC, I’ve always enjoyed NBC’s motorsports coverage especially IndyCar because Diffey, Bell and Hinch have perfect chemistry and they take The Indy 500 seriously and makes it one of the best events (fingers crossed it doesn’t go to Fox) but it’s going to be a bummer with no Dale Jr in the booth.

Pretty sure that happened yesterday at St. Louis, they were talking about somebody smoking on the backstretch or something on the lines of that yet I never saw it because the cameras were on the leaders and I feel like something like this always happens almost every race I wish they would just have nbc year round…

After around 2015 or so Fox just completely took a nosedive in coverage
Here are the various problems they have:
-Cameras (You're telling me that you barely have angles of a crash when there's cameras around almost the entire track)
-Commercials (You wonder why I watch the international feed I hate seeing them every 10-20 laps Talladega this year was just awful with it so was Daytona last year)
-Booths (Clint tries too hard to be funny or just isn't and sounds bored and Jamie Little needs to just stay a pit reporter she makes my ears bleed when she's calling truck races at least Welch was tolerable sometimes)
-Crank it up (Either they don't have it or its on pit road which I don't mind sometimes but its better on the racetrack and its something that makes Fox stand out)
-Sound (I find it really annoying hearing onboard audio during crashes instead of just hearing the screeching of tires and cars creeping by)
-Kids (It's fine in some instances but I don't want to see a kid everytime there is stuff happening on the track)
-Cartoons (We have production day for a reason yet we have the awful comic drawings that are just bad or straight up awful)
-Segments (Remember when pre race was actually fun? Yeah I do I just don't watch it bc of the cringe segments or skits that are in it)

2009-2018 were good to me for NASCAR fox yes it looks horrible now but idc it is what it is. I’ll still enjoy it no matter what.
I’m sure you were also one of the people that said racing would never be the same without Dale Sr. Oh, you’re too young for that. Whats the best Super Bowl halftime show you’ve ever seen? You got that artist in your head? It will never get any better than that. That’s why the last few halftime shows have not lived up to your approval. The same goes here for how a race is called by a network. Was there a rain delay? Was the crew there at the track possibly for 14 to 16 hours? It’s a tough, tough job. I know, I’ve done it. I do agree on placement of the commercials. I remember back in the day if a caution came out during a commercial, they would break back in and cover it LIVE! Our expectations far outweigh what it possible in most cases.
No, unfortunately he died the year I was born. My Grandma recorded races on vcr tapes for me and I love watching them.
I don’t watch football. The only sport for me is Nascar and Monster Jam.
What really bothers me, are the camera shots. There is a battle for the lead and let’s watch some kids or go to a battle for 20th. I don’t doubt it’s a difficult job.

No sound I use the NASCAR APP for scanner and in car cameras I use multiple devices and listen to race control channel ❤

The balance of professionalism and energy that team had was second to none for me and it was backed up by great production. It seemed like the Fox NASCAR crew had way more to work with when that network complimented their coverage.
MMCS Fox needs some improvement. I know Darrell Walltrip needed to retire but dont blame fox. Blame the management. We need to tell Fox that they need to fix this. Then we will see what they can do. After Sonoma, they have the time to change up management and have new cameramen on scene. And no offense. Mike Joy probably needs to retire at the end of this season and require someone from another sports organization who shows what NBC Does.

Fox was bad this year. Way too many commercials that drove me nuts. Hope NBC is better.
I do like Bowyer and Harvick in the booth though. Plus, the actual racing hasn't been too bad this year.

I understand we all get older and Mike Joy is still knowledgeable the most but he’s not as enthusiastic like he used to be. Why are they doing crank it up on Pitt Road this year that makes no sense last week and even tonight on race hub there’s an Echo effect with the music which is a little unusual Winner reward literally you’re that bad? Sure the broadcast could be worse but they could be a lot better. I agree they missed too many things they have some of the same people and they do shouldn’t they know better? Vince Welsh is a good guy, but he was horrible in the booth, not enthusiastic at all. Jamie little bit bit better in the booth. the younger Mike joy from the 1990s through the 2000s boy that was the best with Larry McReynolds and Darrell Waltrip
The fox commentary isn't bad now cause those 3 have had the whole season to get better. The issue there is with Clint, he just doesn't gel with those two but Nascar on NBC has the ABSOLUTE WORST commentary of any sport!! Rick Allen is straight crap & he does the worst checkered flag calls. Plus why the hell does him, burton, & letarte have to yell at me the whole race?!? It makes the broadcast feel hurried or rushed & it prevents me from relaxing during the racr, i feel on edge the whole time, like im waiting on the pizza guy to come but the doorbell is broke.. lol.. the issue is everything about foxs broadcast other than the commentary. Especially the showing people in the stands in the middle of green flags
