Very interesting. I have al three apart from an original Grey (which I would not spend the money anyway :))...To me here, it sounds that the 308 is closer to the old Grey tone? What is your perception in the room when you compare them?
Got Fender, and Copy of Grey250/ MXR combo. Grey is more bottom, and Fender is like 0 bass and high upper mid. In front of amp DOD is better, side and recording fender is better. Also DSL1 is very bassy amp with some strange gain structure. Sound getting snaped on low gain sets. Probably Grey 250 is the best opion but if ur amp is dark better get Fender or Black. The Yellow one is not so good imo.
