interestingly enough, a Cryogonal wouldn't die by melting. If we were to believe the pokedex that is. According to the pokedex it just vaporizes until it can freeze to become solid again. The more recent Shield pokedex flavour text actually suggests they might vaporize every summer in some climates which are warm enough in the summer. Just thought that was interesting. ""When its body temperature goes up, it turns into steam and vanishes. When its temperature lowers, it returns to ice." - Black pokedex "When the weather gets hot, these Pokémon turn into water vapor. Cryogonal are almost never seen during summer." - Shield pokedex
Wait... How would erosion impact a pokemon like zygarde or the silicobra line, both are smooth skinned ground/rock types meaning that this wouldn't matter to them. Also the melmetal line or jirachi who are both steel types but for jirachi it would be the same case as zygarde or the silicobra line, and for melmetal or meltan, the metal goo stuff likely combats the rust, and even if it didn't, it wouldn't affect the pokemons mobility because the metal goo stuff might not even rust due to it being a liquid. Also if the hex nuts rusted nothing would probably happen.
Mabey its the opposite and shiny hunters are taking care of a sick rusty pokemon that cant take care of itself (or the shiny form is just made of a different kind of metal like copper, brass or bronze)
Not all Steel-types are literally steel, and some are made of metals that do not rust. Not all Rock-types are literally rock, either. Rhyhorn has armor/skin made of rock, but is still a normal flesh and muscle rhino underneath. Some Poison-types who cannot control their toxins (like a Swallot who is producing too much acid too quickly) might hurt themselves, or end up spewing deadly waste into their environments. Water-types cannot live in any kind of water. Water has very specific amounts of salt in it, and some animals need more than others. Sharks NEED saltwater to survive. If you put a Sharpedo in a river, it will die. If you put a freshwater fish like Goldeen in the ocean, the salt will poison it to death. This causes sone problems when you think about how Sharpedo's previous form, Carvahna, is a pirhana, which needs freshwater. Carvahna probably have a yearly migration where they swim towards the ocean to evolve, and Sharpedo likely lay their eggs in brackish water (the half-salty water in the area where rivers and oceans connect). Bug-types with wings are vulnerable to their wings breaking apart or splitting. In addition to feeling like one of your fingers got cut off, they would be unable to fly. For most, this guarantees death, as they need to fly to survive.
24:11 as someone with a special interest in snakes and reptiles as well as Pokemon I have always wondered if reptilian Pokemon shed! Also, since humidity is often very important for a complete shed how dose that work for charmander and its line? I can’t give him a humidity box or anything, since it is humid and rough in those and I would probably worry about extinguishing the tail flame witch it needs to survive. I guess they probably have a way to shed without it? Maybe they could burn away old layers of skin, after they start to loose the fire resistance coating? Anyway, thanks for sharing this. Pokemon biology has always interested me, and this video has provided me with some (somewhat morbid at times) food for thought! I had never particularly considered rusting before, or filing down horns and hooves! I wonder if rapidash or mudstale could get metal shoes like horses to help keep the hoof healthy. Are there Pokemon farriers who can asses the health of the hooves of equine Pokemon? And I thought being a regular farrier would be a dangerous job, these guys can not only kick you, they can also burn your face off.

""When its body temperature goes up, it turns into steam and vanishes. When its temperature lowers, it returns to ice."
- Black pokedex
"When the weather gets hot, these Pokémon turn into water vapor. Cryogonal are almost never seen during summer."
- Shield pokedex
Funny how Rhyperior can use Surf just fine, dispite negatives of it
Toby and Ron, what a killer combo!
who needs this video *when you can just take care of Ghost type pokemon?*
Ah yes the desert resort in sinnoh, sinnoh the place with the desert resort, that desert based resort located definately in the sinnoh region...
Huskern - gen 9 ghost grass type?!?!
Or perhaps ground grass type? Hmmmm
I am morbidly curious.
This is quite possibly my new favorite BKT video. Can someone tell my why it has such few views?!
11 minutes after it was posted wow I’m quite early! :)
When Toby said, "cracked gems," my first thought was Steven Universe
I wonder do pokemon centers really sell WD-40
Even pokemon has free healthcare. Feels bad man. 😔
Damm it feels good to be British
@@blazikenkj pain 😌
@@elementalquartet7276 just wait for pokemon to be real
Bird keeper toby used "10 ways how your pokemon can die"
Move has no effect on ghost type
1:00 cries in Nuzlocke
The thought of a Pichu randomly exploding is hilarious to me.
That intro is really funny, haha!
I thought that was a made up thing for Hilda!!! I know now to never make that assumption with that show.
A good video that deserves more views
alot of steel type shinies are based on rusting O.O we hunting bad rusty dying thing D:
Is this a tutorial?
Okay so make sure to only rust the attacking parts of Pokémon for poison damage, unless we vaccinate Pokémon, hrmmm
23:46 reptile owner here, these only exist on reptiles or amphibians without eyelids
They should make a pokemon based on the rat king
The pokemon centers are also restored stops for trainers.
Did anyone else imagine a typhlosion sneezing and a burst of flames out of it's back
Steel type Pokémon: begin to rust
Registeel: are you challenging me?
(This is based on the Pokédex entry that says it never will rust)
Also, Charizard's chest muscles are too small, and therefore too weak, to allow it to fly, even if it had a hollow skeletal system
