- Back in 1984, Michael Jordan was still in the early stages of his career, and while he was already making waves as a star at the University of North Carolina, he wasn’t quite the global icon he’d later become. He was part of Team USA at the Olympics, coached by none other than Bob Knight, who was famous for his no-nonsense, tough-love approach.

When he learn about the goat before he played a game schooling the best in the game with undrafted 2 other drafted players next yr so m.j had a squad instead of the cocaine bulls he could of been with houston or philly would u say chip
With all due respect -- for the life of me, I can't figure out what you are trying to say here. ❓
@@Jim_L i was sayin jim l before he got drafted there was a deal on the table for portland houston to get clyde drexler for ralph sampson then houston would have the first two picks in the 84 draft then chicago was ready to trade the pick too philly for doctor j so m.j could of play with the dream or drexler or philly with mo bobby jones doc off the bench round mound of rebound
@@warreno.bryant4406 Wow, I never would have gotten that from your original comment. Thanks for clarifying. 😃
It would have been interesting with Jordan and Barkley on the same team, but it definitely worked out years later with Jordan and Rodman instead. I could never realistically see Doctor J coming off the bench.
Poor Charles and Sampson -- they never got their ring. 😥
@@Jim_L no prob jim read akeem book and look into the 84 draft
