Same. I started learning when i was 8-9 and stopped playing when i was 16. I'm 18 now and i haven't touched a piano in almost three years. I kind of regret quitting but it got to a point where i was playing to please others instead of doing it because i wanted.
I would definitely love to pick it up again in the future, at my own pace, so i'm rooting for you too ❤

beautiful dynamic control, well played. as much as it is a cover, you are obviously a skilled pianist and I would love to hear you get into it with some rubato and some reharmonization to make it your own, you have an amazing touch and I want to hear YOU, not just what was written originally. even if you release it seperate from a clean cover dont be afraid to make something your own :) thats what music is all about!

I hadn't heard this piece before, so the first 3 notes immediately made me think of the jazz piece Misty by Errol Garner - it's one I love playing myself. This was very pleasant to listen to! Great arrangement. :) This has the same floaty feeling to it.
