The main thing missing in the Gobert discussion is he’s not playing with capable perimeter defenders who can stay in front and not get beat so often. So they are getting cooked and he is forced to help and he has to leave a shooter because the Mavericks are playing 5 out. If he doesn’t help he just gonna give up wide-open layup. Now if you put Gobert on the clippers with PG and Kawhi it’ll look a lot different.. and people will be looking at Gobert in a different light. Thats just the premise though, never ever ever did I think he was worth $205M.
