  • Today, we look back on ‘Horizon’, Lou Lim's first solo exhibition at Silverlens held four years ago - last 2 December 2017 through 6 January 2018.
In ‘Horizon’, Lou Lim presents three correlated works in the space; a monumental seascape painting, printed photographs on a plinth, and a long strip suspended from the ceiling.
The artist investigates the relationship of painting and sculpture, including the fluidity of materials associated with them. This conversation is also prevalent in ‘For the Land that Laments’, her latest exhibition currently on view at Silverlens until 12 February 2022.
