39 total Drops this season from what i read.... 39!!!! That's at least 3 per game. What would it have done for their season in the games they lost? Against Notre Dame they have 3 drops. 1 was a TD if it was caught, and the other 2 were first downs which would have kept 2 drives alive. Georgia might have won that game if not for the drops. Against Alabama. Alabama won by 7 pts... On the 2nd play of the game Arian Smith dropped what would have been a TD... There's your 7 pt makeup, and there were multiple drops from Dillon Bell that would have been 1st downs, and a few from Arian smith that would have been 20 yard passes. Georgia would have easily won that game EVEN WITH the interceptions Beck threw. Against Ole Miss. I think Georgia legitimately lost that game because it was raining and Bobo was too scared to let Beck throw too much which is why he only had 31 attempts, but a lot of dropped balls that game would have held it to a closer contest..
If a program on decline is Georgia going 11-3 with the hardest schedule in the country while being injury ridden all year and never able to have all your parts on offense out there and they lose a game in the playoffs bc the most important position is on the team is the backup starting for the first time. Not to mention SEC champions. Also still gonna have another atleast 3 first round picks
