I don't remember the last time I was awake at 3am, let alone wanting to go for a walk at that time 😂 Thank you for staying awake/getting up early for the rest of us. It's always so fun to see cities that are normally bustling and full of people completely empty. Thank you for another amazing walk!
I don't do it this time of year as im a bit of a lightweight! But in the summer with the long days, i thoroughly recommend city walks from 3 or 4 am to watch the day and city come to life. It really is quite special.
WW is the best!! You're such a professional , I feel spoilt by the immense quality of your uploads. London is the best City in the world and you're the best at capturing that ..a marriage made in heaven!
'My shadow's the only one that walks beside me...' Well, until you find all the late night gatherings, drunks, loud mouths, workers, all night McDonald's etc. The City never sleeps, I miss London. Thank you, I really enjoyed that.
Unbelievable! Very clean sidewalks, streets, and buildings. The light posts, and the buildings architecture is a dream. Overall, every subject looks very similar to Cuba.. Why can't Americans be more clean?
Excellent! The views at the river and the Eye were amazing at that time in the morning. For someone with mobility issues I could never walk that so thanks for sharing.Absolutely brilliant.
A great walk at 3 am!!. Big Ben under renovation confirms it!!. The best way to discover the streets, and some are very lively!!. I made great progress to know the typography of the streets. From South Bank, The Horse Guards; Chinatown and Covent garden, which I really like and Floral Street which is longer than I thought. Thank you WW for these beautiful videos. 😀😀😀😀😀😀
Thanks so much for your videos, I watch them often at the end of the day and they're so calming, and a beautiful look at London. I only got to visit once before the pandemic and fell in love with the city, thanks for letting me visit it through your videos in the meantime:)
Just superb.. thank you for sharing this with us… I miss London so much and this makes me feel like we have just had a few drinks in soho and we are doing the drunk walk home… 👍👍 much love to you from Melbourne, Australia..
I love that you’ve said what time you are walking! I always look for clues as to the time in your videos! It’s a beautiful walk, I can already tell! Do you ever get tired?? You must be exceedingly fit and healthy! I wish I walked as much as you! X
I’ve started to replay your walks in my mind after I’ve finished watching them, and am able t recall each street in order as you walked down them, and picture them in my mind. I think certain points in central London have an almost gravitational pull, Embankment Station being one of those, and I enjoy anticipating where you and other walkers will finish their walk.
I thought something similar myself! Especially Embankment. I have walked all these streets in the night, in the past, but I don't think I'm fit enough to do it again.
WOW, this is an Awesome walk. I dear not to walk through so many quiet streets myself at 3am. 🦋🦋🦋 by the way, I started watching your channel long before...... keep up with the great work. 🦋🦋🦋
Excellent video Watched Walker! You should do more of these late night walks!! It’s a pain in the ass to stay up that late but we’ll worth it for the video haha. I think I will do one of these here in NYC and I hope that I don’t get mugged haha. ThNk you for the inspection and have a great weekend!
Can’t see that view of the London Eye without also seeing, in my mind, the face of Christopher Eccleston as the 9th Doctor, not realizing that it is the Nestene transmitter. So cool that you can just casually stroll to a place where an iconic Doctor Who episode was filmed. I would love to go there some day.
Late night , when even details of the town become conspicuous. At 45:31I wish I could read the menu of Angus House. At 45:55 appears a WW , logo of the reporter of London.
Awesome video, great to see London in the early hours, noticed your name on itsu, and only just realised you do this in some of your videos, now I’m going to have to watch them again, lol, cool little Easter egg trick
I can't believe the temperature was 10 degrees celsius in the NIGHT in JANUARY. It's literally going to be less than 0 degrees consistently in the night in London for over a week and it's only early December.
I know there's the saying that New York is the city that never sleeps, but I do often think that about London. To me London you can always find an area that still has a hive of activity going on regardless of the time.
Mad to see the change. Used to walk to Russell Square from Piccadilly circus occasionally circa 2016 if we were out. Even at 2am was chocka and no point getting a cab. Even on a Thursday.
I keep picturing those blue flashing lights screeching to a halt in front of you claiming there have been reports of a man with a camera wandering the streets;) "Don't you know who I am?", you rightly reply 😂 Beautiful walk and gorgeous new look to the channel. All the best, Angela
@Falcom Scott Hey Falcom. Hope you are well:) New video should be out this weekend - I'm learning a new editing programme so a little delayed. All the best, Angela
Awesome! I wish there were videos like this from the Punk era. Just walking through the streets in 1977 with a Sony RX-100 (out of a timemachine obviously) ^___^
Thanks a lot for this video The London Eye is so beautiful Walking around the city alone at 3 a.m. please be careful, I was really worried about you 🙏☺️
3am is terrible to be awake & walk like this. Even cars don't seem to rest at this odd hour of night. I would prefer to take colourful 2 blankets hide & sleep.
Me from New Zealand again where we are having very hot weather…walking along with you at “ 3am” was a great way for me to feel cooler! Apart from that it was great to see familiar places with hardly any people around.I often wonder do you have anyone to accompany you especially when at times when you did this walk ..bit creepy in some places if alone
Hello WW. How are you doing? Will watch this soon, maybe even whilst on the stationary bike. Wow, another middle of the night video from you. It's as though you are on Vancouver time, which is 8 hours behind the UK here. I also want to catch up on your previous video of Big Ben, so will get to that soon also. All is well with Mum and I in Canterbury and I'm feeling fine even when on the bike for 50 mins at around 35 kph. I am cautious though and still awaiting my next scan. I've already pencilled in many 2022 events into my diary. In fact, already booked for Christmas at Kew and Blenheim Palace Christmas lights for 2022! Plus tickets to the British Motor Show in Farnborough in August and BBC Gardeners World Live at NEC Birmingham. Many more events to attend in-between all those too...and hopefully getting to know London better as well. Oh and I need to brush up on my knowledge of Hampton Court as the lady in the gift shop will likely test me! I'm also particularly interested in all the good quality London markets which you've featured in your past videos, such as Covent Garden, as well as the Coal Drops, South Bank etc. Anyhow, I look forward to continued viewing and speak soon! Ibrahim in Canterbury.
Hello Ibrahim, I'm glad you're doing well, I'm fine thanks. Wow, you're really getting ahead with all your planning! Hope to catch you soon at the next premiere.
Hi, i live in fleet street and my gym is located in in Holborn. The gym is always packed during the day, i’m thinking about going to the gym at midnight between 12-1 am, do you think that’s safe?
Very enjoyable night walk, perhaps you could do a similar one, but choosing a route where you wouldn’t expect to see anyone, or at least very few people. The near silence and atmosphere would be good. On second thoughts maybe that would be too eerie, I don’t think I would like to do that!
Thanks John, the Jack the Ripper walk had very few people. It's quite difficult to find an area with no people and still be an area I'd want to walk at that hour.
One has to wonder how many of the people who are out and about at that time are the public servants who, in a couple of hours will be sitting behind a desk taking your phone call.

Agree. I enjoyed this so much!!🍓❤️

Isn't the bell Big Ben, and the Tower was the Clock Tower, just renamed to the Elizabeth Tower?
Yes that's correct, though everyone knows the clock tower as Big Ben.
