      I remember my mom doing it in the 70's with a punch thru one at a time. When she was out I would sneak and do some, can't remember if the rug ever got finished it was like 4ft by 3ft.

    I made a 5'x7' latch hook rug a few years ago. It took me over a year to finish the darn thing & it's not like I would let it sit for months .. or even weeks without working on it. It became my TV companion so at least 2 hours a night. Now I'm watching you make gorgeous rugs in just a few hours? Ones that look every bit as nice as my latch hook rug? After watching you I realize I need tufting gun! Need need need. I have visions of gorgeous rugs swimming in my head! Thank you so much for this video!

    When I saw the clouds, right after Drew did the white parts, I thought it would look really epic as a wall art. Except that you would need to do it the other way around- "poke" it from the back of a frame and I guess living it on a frame afterwards. I really love the look of just the fluffy clouds on a simple canvas material, without filling the sky (space between the clouds). It would totally hit the vibes of neutral colors and texture elements.

    • @Kath-Erina
      @Kath-Erina 3 года назад +2

    You did a great job. I did it 50 years ago. So I have forgotten. I can tell you that I didn’t know they made the stuff for the back. For your first time you created some great results. I am going to enjoy watch you grow. The only failure is in not trying, some one famous said that but I don’t remember. I made this bunny other day. It didn’t turnout how I would have liked I bought stuff to remake them for my kids

    Here in the Philippines a tufting gun's cost ranges from 15,000 to 200,000 pesos( 1 Dollar=50 pesos) and a monk's cloth costs up to 7,000 pesos
    That is indeed a beautiful project and truly an inspiring one I watched Aj Makes tutorial a month ago and badly wanted to make one considering how much a rug costs(coz naturally things that you make on your own should cost way lesser) when I searched for the prices of the necessary materials my heart dropped. I am always in awe of diyers abroad coz you have a lot of amazing stores where almost everything is available unlike here ,of course we can always order online but the shipping rate would also be crazy high.

    I like your continuous new adventures into the decor unknown. You keep me updated even if I can't do all of them. Also love the background music you have on, it's calming, fun and does not overwhelm and irritate like some videos do. You deserve your 1mil followers. Well done
