One of those songs, that is like SIX songs-in-one. I expect many people don't comment, because of its unsurpassed elevated status, leaving little room for words. Mansun ought to have been respected up there with Pink Floyd, Depeche Mode and their names' inspiration, (the) Verve. Their (primarily, I expect Paul's,) talents on pretty much every song they made (esp Lantern/ Six), are phenomenal / breathtaking.
The sound engineering on that snare drum alone mmmmm. Love to know how they got that high pitch ring on it. Absolutely beautiful sound. Six album for me is musical self indulgent heaven

I was in my 20’s listening bought all the guitar books, tried to be chad, failed, tried to out sing paul deffo did 😂 seen them at the corn exchange in Ipswich they played take it easy chicken fucking he’ll never felt an entrance and I’ve seen Coldplay from Brixton to Wembley zero rock and roll compared. Thank you lads wonderful memories from a 42 year old half pissed fucktard from Essex but I absolutely love Mansun always will especially the chad who loved me and six, words used then would be considered revolutionary now in this absolutely absurd reality currently 🙁 shiver to conformity and cower to authority ffs where are the men?
