Edit: Working for me. March 2024. But instead of rolling backward, I just leaped backwards (space bar on PC). Thanks Mr. Villa!

@@parkout95 ok it just worked. Instead of dodging backwards, I just hit the space button to leap backwards. Got her to half health and ran out of arrows. 🤣

So I just shot 99 heavy arrows into her face but she kept moving back and they got weaker each time. Then I switched to crossbow but I can't even aim it. How did you get her with the 99 arrow limit?
That's why you have to free the merchant Geriart (shown in the video)
He sells different types of arrows, meaning you can equip both wooden and regular arrows from him.
The game only lets you carry 99 of a single arrow type, that's why free him it's important.
You need at least 160-180 arrows, which should now be possible thanks to the merchant. Crossbows for some reason don't work, only arrows
Great tip worked for me. Press A & B on keypad to step backwards as soon as you start to enter.

I followed it to your exact characters steps and exact timing. Your exact instructions and it does not work. I’m on PS4 Pro. It can’t be patched given this videos recent posting and they stopped patching years ago. Screw me lol. Literally on the exact same spots frame by frame and she still agros… So frustrating.
-Make sure the steps only go half inch, not a full step
-wait for Lothric title to disappear
-your character should be a fair distance from the Fog wall before pressing X
-The reason the glitch work it's because your character enters the fog when it's far away, giving you enough space to roll backwards and position yourself between the open doors and the fog.
-The boss AI only triggers after you pass the open doors.
