Would be great to see manufacturers make the road cars look the same as these on the outside. The extra width and aggressive look of the body kit is really good.
@@MOTORSPORT24de Thanks for your reply. Are there any videos of the car in action with the intrax suspension? I will check out motorsport24 store for sure
@@leo.1v375 No, not fully and il explain. I think this comment was when i was just thinking about doing this given the comments age! in fact iv never even owned a fully working E89 Z4 haha. Here's a rough TL:DR update, early 2021 i obtained a 2009 E89 Z4 chassis, stripped it down and had a full 3D scan done for measurements. I then bought a popular hobbyist level CAD program to start working on my product and it was rubbish so i binned it. Some time passed and September 2022 i bought another CAD program solely for tube work shortly followed in December by a market leading CAD/CAM package for design and CNC programming of things such as hubs etc. Early 2023 id drafted my first revision of a tube frame chassis which will have my own suspension and a motor plate within the engine bay so a range of engines can be fitted. Im working on a 2nd revision of the chassis now from a newer material which is stronger and will mean less tubes in the design so i hope it looks super modern! Once finalised it will go off for FIA approval and green light to produce. My own car will be running a 2.8L prototype quad rotor engine, full solid state electronics including active damping, the bodywork from M24 guys etc. Basically a fully up-to-date Z4 GT3. Il be able to build whoever else want's one to their spec with whatever engine they choose so long as its fits the bay in a front engine RWD config. Im doing everything on my own including all the learning on the CAD side, all the setting up of a shop with everything needed to go into production and all while holding down the day job. That's where im upto man. Cheers

So many beautiful e46s as well! 😍
Was this an original GT3 chassis purchased after z4 GT3 retirement or a road z4 and built into a race car? Im looking to build a road z4 into a GT3
wrighty338 it’s an original Z4 GT3 chassis. We have all carbon fiber parts available to build a replica. www.motorsport24.de - www.bmwm3shop.de

Did you fulfill your dream of turning your Z4 into a race car?
