I don't think so. I think Daesung only liked the attention he got from the family when they would tease him about it. Jiyoung said she text him to become friends and he told her he was busy because of a photoshoot. He says he "drew a line" (he probably thought she wanted to be more than friends and he didn't want to.) and she said he avoided her after that. Probably because she was so young.
