Scarves are the secret weapon in a men's wardrobe,
today I want to talk about why you should implement them if you don't already
I believe they are the manliest article, most functional, most stylish, and has tons of variety, also did I say functional?
they keep you warmer, yep, but they also can be worn in as a face mask. or a head wrap, when the wind is barreling at you and you feel like you're sitting next to a fireplace and everyone else is crying, you feel like a man I swear.

Have worn scarves for years, ‘just’ to keep the cold off my neck, not really for style. But after watching your video.. and discovering there is an H&M store at a local mall (shows how long I’ve been away from the malls) I went to see the (very nice) variety of scarves that were in stock... and came away with 7 new, fun(!) scarves of varying weights. Thanks for the great video (and inspiration to liven up my scarve collection)!

Idk how. Only had it once one day. I do know it happens if you're using head shampoo and head conditioner instead of beard wash (beard wash is less strong) and if you wash it every day, that also causes it. I wash my beard with the same soap once a week. Rinse it other days. I also never change soap brands as changing type of wash causes it. I don't do beard videos on this channel but I recommend Beardbrand channel for all your beard related questions. I know they have 2 videos on beard dandruff

Scarves are awesome. For me, scarves and neckwear in general are great expression pieces.
Fun fact upon mentioning the military and scarves: people have viewed the origin to deal with the Croats. From the scarves worn around the soldiers necks, brought the evolution of the cravat and other forms of neckwear.

Scarves are functional and stylish! Not only are they helpful during the winter, but a linen scarf can really add a nice touch to your spring and summer wardrobe (depending on the weather, of course).

So fucking reassuring to see an American man unapologetically using terms such as manly, masculine, rugged, and phrases like "we're men, dress like it," in this climate.
I believe the 21st century man's image has been diluted, toned down, fucking hipstered up, effeminated and (I don't know if this is still a thing) metrosexualized.
I usually stand out from my group of friends because I'm still somewhat conservative in my mannerisms, style and general demeanour, and this is the kind of content I like getting in my life. Yes, that's what I get from a video about scarfs--a well made one.

Thanks Jeff for this suggestion in Men’s dress attire. With the ice cold winds we get out west, I’ll grab one of two scarves and give it a loose wrap under my Wool Pendleton coat and I’ll be quite warm soon. Scarves sure beat turtlenecks by a long shot.
I used to not be a fan of men and scarves (i thought they looked feminine) but I've since come to find them super hot and masculine. Especially if you have a beard too. Just looks so damn fine
Yep in the 90s it wasn’t necessarily in vogue for men to wear them, then after 2010 they came back

Scarfs make sense for warmth retention, I remember in high-school physics - hot air expands and rises. Scarfs mitigate the loss of heat as it rises and escapes out of your collar.
Scarves , a few pairs of gloves for going out and nice headwear are classics that should be part of every man's wardrobe, at least his cold weather wardrobe.
I almost never wear a hat though. Idk why!

One cold winter (1980?) I was shopping with my fiancé and she encouraged be to get a tan colored suede, wool-lined jacket. I found it surprisingly warm and comfortable but it needed something more.
I found a surprisingly long navy blue knit scarf with a nice blue and white Scandinavian design at the ends with navy fringes. I looped it once around my neck and let it hang down front and back. I was delighted with the warmth and the look as was my fiancé.
I lost track of the jacket (and fiancé) years ago, but I still wear the scarf. I wrap it around twice if it's really cold out. I have a more formal lighter weight black scarf I can wear for dress.
I think they're an ideal accessory.
Oh, and I find your 'girlie' insecurities to be perfectly silly.

Great video. I love scarves. I started wearing them after a girlfriend bought one for me. Fell in love with them and now I have a collection.
Just bought a scarf today, and I already love it!
I’ve got one heavy scarf I hardly use, one desert scarf like what Nate uses in uncharted that also doesn’t see a ton of use. And also a few different colours of silk cowboy scarves which are my favourite ones. Good in all weather except very cold, comfortable and thin so in the summer you can carry it as a bandana in your pocket.

i got one soft gray homemade scarf made of wool, allways saves me during coldest winer days.
works great, especially with coats.
but when i cover my face and chin with it, it allways flounders with my beard, which is curly like the scarf :D

Started wearing scarfs last year and generally always have one in a bag. I’ve got a couple of military style shemagh’s which I wear most often and always have one at the bottom of my day bag. Also have a few medium colourful scarfs which I think work nicely to break up a dark suit or on cold days when you need to brighten shit up 😄
Think I’ll need to invest in a heavy scarf now though as that’s were I’m lacking.

Great video really enjoying your content. My wife knitted me a pure wool crimson red scarf last Christmas and i normally wear a dark green wax jacket that goes really well with it. Also having a beard and scarf just shuts the wind out completely. Where did you get your over coat and grey shirt in this video? They look Great 👍

Scarves are good with a t-shirt I suppose. But I think if you're wearing a t-shirt you don't care about coming across as stylish. Nothing stylish about a t-shirt imo.

I completely avoid scarves simply because I like being cold.
Question: is there any kind of shirt (or any above-the-belt item) that’s not good with scarves? Honestly, I wear (nice) hoodies a lot, even with a nice suit jacket, but not sure how a scarf would look with that. Thoughts?

Do you really struggle with having to feel "manly",and having these certain items helps you to feel more "tuffguy"? I'm sure that you already know this, but it's ego, and in my opinion ego is partly America's issue. Having this or that, doesn't make a person, who they are. What is it you ate trying to be? Have you spent much time in the forest alone with the animals? I enjoy your vids and you have a great beard , i just had some questions about this one. Lol
Quite often speaking with the narrative coming from a person who either overcompensates or is insecure helps translate a message better. but i still remain authentic. Ego isn't an American issue, it's simply psychology.
I was considering the scarf, but then I saw all the clowns were wearing them, so no thanks. There's a reason that clowns do things a particular way, and it's usually because they're clowns. Best to do things your own way...
