That was a great video, however I would like to have seen something added to allow for the joins to be put together full stop at the moment these are interference joins rather than allowing for a relief cut so they can be pushed together easily once machined
hi, thanks for your videos! I'm seeing in your videos, you made a material like plywood with the wood grain on the faces and edges with the multilaminated. Can you tell me how do you create that? Thanks in advance!!!
Take a picture of plywood edge and then make a seamless texture in Photoshop. You can make custom textures in fusion 360. You can make a vertical plywood in a horizontal plywood texture infusion and then apply it to the edges. ruclips.net/video/PJ7L4S5ylqg/видео.html This video shows how to make seamless textures, then you just need to use that image for a texture in fusion. Change the dimensions of the texture infusion to the pixel dimensions of the texture image you make.
When you are applying textures you can either apply textures to bodies or faces. You can select all the faces and then drag the texture onto them. When you press "a" for the appearance window, there is a radio button toggle for bodies or faces. It defaults the bodies each time you open the window.
As someone starting out with fusion and CNC, this has just taught me so many things. Really great work.
Glad it helped 👍

Thanks for the feedback, will look to doing more CNC joint videos in the future
@@WhatMakeArt still waiting!
Nice! how do you get these plywood appearances? Fusion doesn't seem to have that texture in the library by default.
You can make custom textures and appearances, there is a video on the channel showing how to make custom Fusion 360 textures and appearances

@@WhatMakeArt Thanks for the response. I've made new textures in fusion but I dont know how to put one texture in the edje and other in the face

@@WhatMakeArt Great I will try it!
when I try to give the dimensions of the small circles in the last joint I'm not able to do because of the sketch error, what am I doing wrong?
You likely have too many dimensions or constraints that are already applied, try deleting the circles and redrawing
