Life of Lachit Barphukan & his achievements

Today, I want to tell you about a very special and brave person from history. His name is Lachit Borphukan. Lachit Borphukan was a great warrior who lived a long time ago in a place called Assam.

Well, Lachit Borphukan is famous for his role in defending Assam from invaders. There was a time when the mighty Mughal Empire wanted to take control of Assam. Lachit Borphukan was the commander who led the Assamese army in a battle against the Mughals.
