@@bored8990 but at last it was JYP'S decision to change the line up from 7 to 9 and look how did the changed worked out . Both are insanely popular members . Arguably Tzuyu is far popular than anybody else worldwide ( Non - K-pop fans)
all the makeup, the dressing, the hair styling and proper training can make these girls look a lot more different than they were in season 1. of course, in season 1, they were deliberately presented as normal teen girls who were competing on the show. too much makeup etc would actually make them looking unnatural and the show being fake. in season 2, they are now well prepared like predebut idols fighting for the final debut spots, it is more like a show than a competition show from the production's point of view. by the time the season 2 is being aired on TV, the final spots have probably been chosen and are getting ready to debut once the season 2 is over. the season 2 is likely already prerecorded for TV airing. sometimes people may get to forget how young these girls are and some of them are actually young kids in terms of age. If I can recall, some are as young as 14 years old. for instance, Nina. they might have to be go under certain law restrictions when they debut and perform (work). anyway. this group or these groups will do well under JYP. my prediction, Miihi, Nina, Rima and Mako are 99.99% to make it and debut unless they screw up something extremely bad on and/or off the show. anyway I certain will watch the season 2.

I guess that JYP eliminate members and put them under pressure so they can train well and improve their lack skills ( although it's a bad way to motivate the trainees) but he did that with momo and Lee know from straykids now see!?!. They are one of the best main dancers in their generations...he did that also with Felix from straykids too improve his korean skills and he did a huge effort just to debute and he is now Rapper and from the dance line
