How do you avoid a deformation of the cardboard after painting it? I use Polystyrene on a wooden base, and even then i have some bases where the tips bend upwards after the color and the putty dried. Makes me nuts everytime it happens 🤪

Glue pieces of paper over the edges or seal them with glue gun, then spray on primer.
