1:40 when you were impressed the weight Jimmy was lifting, it's definitely possible for someone like Jimmy to have more arm strength than people think due to Jimmy relying on his arms to walk. I know someone with cerebral palsy in his legs and hes exactly like that
That is true. One of my good friends uses a manual wheelchair to get around because he of Spinal Bifida. He his forearms are lean and strong. He uses his arms to move his wheels for his chair and he also tries to go on hills using his arms as much as possible even though I offer help.
I always felt that was the case. I mean, people with Cerebral Palsy rely more on their arms for full mobility than most people. You have to hold your body up by your arms with barely to no support from your legs. Now that I think about it, may be a bad idea to challenge Jimmy to an arm-wrestle.

Cartman is smart, I give him that. Was able to trick his mom into thinking it was for the greater good, though this is the first South Park episode I’ve seen.
The translations of titles into other languages are fascinating. In German, the title was translated as "Mit der Spritze an die Spitze," which loosely translates as "With the syringe to the top." In French, it's "Les Stéroïdes, ça déchire," or "Steroids rock."
11:00 You're probably talking about Pain and Gain Mark Wahlberg's character got called an amateur and he went on some kind of a roid rage and accidentally killed the guy
2:04 When I watched this, I didn't know this kid had Down syndrome, as most of what I knew about Down syndrome at the time came from the show _Summer Heights High_ (which you should totally react to sometime, it's an awesome show), so I assumed Nathan was talking like this because he was supposed to be, like, a stereotypical maf boss or something, similar to how the kid from the toilet paper episode spoke in a Hannibal Lector-esque manner.

Nathan genuinely gets Jimmy into the worst problems. Giving him steroids and his rivalry with Jimmy and wanting him to die and the list goes on. I hate Nathan for it.
I love when they call out people by pretending like the character is talking about themself and not the cheating superstars like in this episode, and the couples who clearly killed their own kids, rather than it being some puerto rican guy. Hillarious!

Having worked with Special Olympics in a senior role many years back, I can confirm that only a moron - or Cartman - would try taking on the top-tier SO athletes, who may have an intellectual disability but are otherwise Olympian athletes with generally superb skills and physical prowess. A for effort though…..
And that is the beauty of this episode. The calling out of mcgwire, bonds and giambi was great. it was also funny how they tied doing that cheating was like pretending to be handicapped and beating up on the lesser "talent", but yet cartman still couldnt do it. Shows that the steroids helps the baseball players, but you still have to have skill to make them work
I realize I"m late af for this, but the steroid part of the episode isn't entirely exaggerated. Testosterone cypionate, what I take for an endocrine disorder, are the same steroids that Arnold and his friends were on in the 70s and 80s (tho possibly better quality now, not sure). Lifting weights while on steroids.. idk how to describe it. It's like.. you legit feel like Goku or Vegeta. For me, my body just wanted to keep lifting. Couldn't lift enough weights, couldn't do enough sets/reps. It was weird but in an awesome way, and it took basically nothing to gain muscle mass. Love the reaction, keep 'em coming. I'm a year late and many dollars short but you do great work, King
So Cartman did literally everything but actual training xD It shows his ignorance thinking he would be naturally faster/stronger than any kid with disability even being in a horrible phisical condition bc he clearly hates any kind of sports and workout 😂
