I grew up with a Mom who was careful with furniture as well. We kids could be as wild as we wanted...outside. I wouldn't have even thought to jump on the furniture. My Mom's favorite line was, "Don't act like you were raised in a barn." 🤣 So I kinda get Meri's point of view. There's definitely a way to talk to the kids to accomplish the same result, but bouncing off the walls would drive me nutzo too. Take all that energy and play outside.
My mother said the same thing!!! LOL
I missed the live today Jenny, I missed you and always enjoy you, my foot healed by now they think there is nerve damage and I bought a purple bed and passed out, Jenny you always make book club fun and I enjoy you so much and the community you have created is so nice and yes its not mean spirited and you are a joy in my day thank you!
Cathy, I was wondering where you were. I am glad to hear the foot is healed. A purple bed!!! Those look so comfy.
@@DaniTowns0227 Dani , yes I went the dr was said my fracture was healed and I have nerve damage now and something is pinching off but its not the fracture tbd.... it was so sweet of you to reach out thank you Dani, you are always so fun in the lives with Jenny and Jenny is always so smart and enjoy her take always!

You were missed. Nerve damage sounds worse than a broken foot. Hope it can heel quickly for you. How is the purple bed? I've seen the sticker price and was shocked. But, if it's worth it....then it's a consideration!
Jenny, the purple bed was a shock it was $4500 but Im a senior too and that was the one gift I bought since Daddy passed away in 2021 after a heart attack, I was hit at a light in 2013 by 2 cars and it messed up my spine and back but I'm still alive and blessed with 2 beautiful kids and an amazing hubby of 30 years, I have alot to be grateful for!
The note on Robyn fridge was just ridiculous.
Robyn sucks but imagine 15 kids just going in your fridge and taking things. Especially teenagers that will eat you out of house and home. My own kids know to ask me first about a lot of items in the fridge. You will be planning to cook dinner and the kids may have eaten the ingredients. I'm with Robyn on this one and that's hard to say.
Agree. Rules in my house is that if it's not on the shelf of "fair game" then it's something I need to make an upcoming meal so it's off limits.

Rewatching here! About the money and all debt, if you take away the "fun"-spending just imagine all basics for the family. I got ONE kid and damn it's not like you earn money of them😂 Even if we have hand-downs between siblings and so on, TLC money etc, I understand it's not working great. Four different households, nah.

Cody did not contribute to the mortgage hardly ever!! You are spot on! I think Cody was on commission only jobs and maybe still is. Also, Garnett is almost as dark as pigeon blood diamonds.
Ya learn something new everyday! Funny thing is, I've said I like Rubies in the past, but in reality, I think I like Garnett better! LOL.

Crazy that meri would think they would back here up even though they didn’t agree with how she handled the situation.
Loved the content. Wish I hadn't been so late. I have so many mixed feelings about Meri. I really don't know what and when to believe her. I remember a few times that Hunter, Logan (I think), Gabe and Savannah saying that Christine was really like their 2nd mom. Gabe said she was always there for all of the kids. I don't ever recall any of the kids talking favorably about Meri's house or her caring for them on a reg basis...it was always Christine. As the kids got older Meri like Kody had very little to do w the kids--Esp Janelle's sons. It was always so obvious to me that again like Kody...Meri always favored Robyn's kids. A few times I did feel badly for Meri...she so wanted to be a major part of Ari and Sol's lives...Robyn kept her kids at arms length from even Meri. Don't think Robyn encouraged her kids to get close to any of the other moms...including Meri. Now the kids are anxiety ridden. very few social skills and prob very lonely. Thanks to Robyn. Meri would have been wonderful for the two older young ladies to learn from; socialize with and become friends with...Maybe Meri really can have a good shot at a life full of happiness and peace...and NO Kodilock's.

I believe Kody Brown Entertainment was formed when the show began and that’s where TLC paychecks were deposited. Since the divorces, TLC must be paying Meri and Janelle separately. Kody subsequently started DABSARK (K&R’s family initials).
The women get separate paychecks no longer linked with Kody.

The pronunciation of some words seems to be UT area around UT.
Maybe it's a mormon thing. Even the wider church is insular. The couple on growing up in polygamy speak the same way. At least I really noticed the husband does.

What is a patron? Help me out here😘
It's a second channel yet connected through youtube. It's a subscription channel. So, there's a monthly fee, and usually three subscription tier options. Some channel content creators have them and offer nothing, but it's a way to help support the channel since youtube is paying not much to content creators (unless you have a ton of subs/views). And subscriptions on channels youtube takes 30% of. I'll give more details about it when the time comes. But I need more time to get it all set up etc.

If you start requiring a paying subscription to see some of your content and chats like book clubs, I guess I will be seeing less of you. There are so many content creators all dying for subscriptions and memberships, it’s impossible to track where your money is going. I’m getting closer to retirement and I can’t afford a bunch of subscriptions. As it is content creators only answer and recognize paying subscribers during live chats. So it seems regular members are just not that important anyway. Good luck though.
