This is why people love 80s music to this day - real instruments played by real musicians with some synths & sound effects added to accentuate the tunes. ❤

i was so happy to be able to attend the concert, got ViP tickets and everything. the Midnight means so much to me since their music has helped me so much during many bad moments in my life. only regret was that i was too nervous to raise my hand during their QnA to thank them for their music and their awesome vibes, but the show was such an amazing experience.

I was there too! It was great, though that opening act….
I just learned about this band about 2.5 years ago. They were part of my algorithm on Pandora when I created a "Kavinsky" station. I absolutely love this band. They in my opinion are definitely as good or better than even Daft Punk, The XX, Kavinsky. These guys I leave on repeat in my truck while I cruise around south Texas. I talked myself out of this concert because I am basically a dummy. Never again. I hope they come next year, I will be there.
I mean if you’re a trucker it’s understandable that you didn’t go! That’s pretty cool in the Kavinsky find out! Yep I agree I put these on while cruising it’s the perfect combination especially at night! Well enjoy the whole concert here no worries and sub to stay updated on my content, take care!

I think they cut out "Dance With Somebody" cuz Jesse isnt with them at the moment

This concert was absolutely magical, and I don't regret it. I've seen the midnight on every tour. Even went to their first in San Diego.
It's so beautiful to see this band get better, and better live.
Thank you for recording this in it's entirety. I'll be watching it sometime soon. It broke my heart that I wasn't able to attend the show because Covid got me pretty good, so it's really a pleasant surprise to see the set on RUclips.

Thanks for posting this. Very similar setlist to what we had in Cleveland on 10/2. But we had America 2 slotted in where you had Lost and Found (I'm very happy about that, since America 2 is one of my favorites live).

Thank You for amazing video of this performance. It is very good, but I hoped that Tim behind real drumset with electronics is the permament thing. It gave the shows imense energy and he is absolutely fantastic drummer.

I hope to watch Tim sing some of the songs that he sings in concert, these songs would be Comet and Synthetic, I don't know why he doesn't sing in concerts now, it gives the impression that he doesn't want to, well I don't lose hope, they are very emotional music and his voice is very cool.
Yep I admire Tim a lot for producing the music. I got no idea honestly, I think they’re moving things around for live performances as someone else mentioned he is not playing an actual live from drum set and now he’s not singing you’re saying. I think he wants to me involved with the electronic instruments like playing synths and electronic drums. My opinion.. thanks for your comment make sure to sub!
@@EddieChann Yes, he is an excellent composer, musician and singer, my comment is because if you look for any live videos of his concerts that have been uploaded to RUclips you will not see any of those songs with him, so that is why my appreciation and it is somewhat sad because it is also a good singer and those songs have a lot of feeling, well I hope to see him sing live again sometime.

Thanks for posting this. Was trying to see if its worth the $50 + 2 hour round trip on public transportation + 90 minutes of standing with a disc bulge, and I've decided its probably not. But watching this at home will be pretty fun and less peopley. Maybe next time though!

I never really liked having Tim in the background, even if I knew it has been a great challenge for him to play drums live. Better he is more in the frontline, in closer interaction with the crowd. Else: I wish to hear "Synthetic" from the band once in this lifetime :)
You know I respect everyone’s opinion however as I say I just go with the flow! I personally agree with you tho! I think he should be in FRONT as he is the PRODUCER! Synthetic would be nice :D Sub to support my channel thank you so much!
They don’t play We Move Forward at their concerts?? Any idea why isn’t it one of their biggest hits? I was maybe going to go to the San Francisco show I really wanted to hear that song.

Going to sydney concert. cant wait. disappointed seeing the track lists though as some of my favourite songs are Light Years. Bend and Synthetic. Dont seem to get played at concerts. Just play them and stay on for 15 more minutes in Sydney :)

I think I read in interview they're going for different vibe this round. More electronic but also keep what they've done as well. Last couple tours were more stadium rock, as is the Heroes album, and hence the drums live. So yeah, a lot of this setlist does have altered versions or different instrumentals of the original songs
What was happening in the audience that was so funny during Los Angelos?

I was next to it and yea, the guy in front of me proposed to his girl. They tried bring them up on stage but security didn’t allow them :/
