- Moto2 rider Joe Roberts also had a go around the freshly repaved WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca road course on Tuesday as he joined nine other riders in a special test conducted by Dunlop tires. By all accounts, Roberts enjoyed being back on one of his all-time favorite racetracks.

That was like a 1:31-1:32 like nothing. So smooth!
I think the next evolution in this kind of racing should be a heads-up display in the helmet. Something that not only shows the correct line on the track, but also the optimal bank angle to successfully navigate each turn. It would also give speed, tack, and fuel readings much like those used by modern fighter pilots.

Cameron Beaubier and PJ will DOMINATE at Laguna this weekend. They are miles ahead of everyone in qualifying. I said couple weeks back, if BMW could do that good against the Yamahas at the Ridge, that was a very good sign they would do the same or better at LaGuna, and sure enough here we are. Cameron is at least 7/10ths faster than the other guys.
